16 Speed Drill Press is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard to find Parts Plastic Knobs break after a few years of use. While no other parts have been needed I have found it next to impossible to just go online and order a broken part. Made in China and Black Bull does not sell to consumers. I would not recommend any product that you can't get replacement parts for easily. Buyer beware - Check manufactures web site prior to buying and don't buy anything if you are not satisfied with the web site. The web site will tell it all, if it is hard to navigate beware. If you can't find information beware.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Spend the extra money and get a product that will work for you. Base on this model is not big enough to support the press, plus it takes some grinding to get it to set true to the floor. Even bolted down the upright tube wobbles...a lot. Arbor has a lot of play in it and drifts. Bolt is missing for locking the table. Good luck finding one that fits. Overall, it's good for taking up space in the shop and not much else. I'm disappointed in Home Depot for selling it. Maybe I can find someone to take it off my hands for 100 bucks, but in any case I'm out some money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Drill press I was going to purcahse a different drill press but then came across this one on sale with freee shipping to my door. The price was really unbeatable and the drill press works fine. I would say it is a general duty drill press but for someone looking to step up from a bench top this is a good start. If you can get the same deal I got then it's worth the price and you will come away feeling pretty good about your purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is slightly different from what have seen from other outlets. This floor drill press is rather unstable with light weight base stand. Drill operation is okay but rather noisy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Purchase for the price The drill press is a great value for the price that is if you get it for the sale price around Christmas time. I would say this drill press is medium duty and is built reasonably well. The description and specifications given are not completely accurate and here are some differences. Speeds-210 to 3840 RPM, Motor- 3/4 Hp..6.6 amps , Height of drill press- 63", Spindle travel- 3-1/4", Table size- 11-1/2", Column to center of spindle- 6-1/2". Also, It says no work light, actually it has a work light and it says it has a laser centering,no it does not have a laser centering device. I think the laser is useless on a drill press anyway, but they shouldn't say it has one because mine sure don't and they took it out of the manual too. Other than the inaccuracies in description etc... It does what a drill press should do. I drilled into a piece of wood with a 2-1/2" Forstner bit and it worked like a charm.Wait for the good price though. *had to add this= Some major assembly steps were completely skipped in the instructions, luckily I am mechanically inclined and figured it out but some may have a real hard time. And I mean skipped not lost page.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fine for low to average use Our drill press came without the laser. Home Depot was great about wanting to help me resolve it, but in the end, we tried to order a new one and return the first one, only to find out they were out of stock. The box was also missing one of the knobs. I'm still trying to get the manufacturer to respond, send email 2 days after Christmas and am still waiitng, a month later, I haven't heard a word from them. For the price we paid on sale ($229) it was a good buy. For full price, I'd consider another model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If you're looking for quality, this isn't it! Poorly designed and badly executed. Typical Chinese workmanship throughout. The base is too small to safely support the tool without bolting it to the floor. The advertised laser was not included. Once assembled I realized the available depth of cut is less than 3 1/2 inches! The gear mechanism to raise and lower the work table is loose allowing the table to shift from side to side when not locked down and I expect the plastic handles to last about three uses before I'm looking for replacement parts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product is very cheaply made. This product is lacking the laser it clams to have, the wiring for the work light was pinched in the idler pully mechanism causing a short, the motor has an irritating high pitched wine to it. Other than that I have managed to use a counter boring bit and drill bit to drill several holes in some wood with out too much difficulty.
