Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sam Very satisfied with the delivery time and tracking information
The press was somewhat difficult to assemble. This was due primarily to a good set of installation guidelines. However, I am very satisfied with the press

Quality product and simple to assemble. Recommend this item to anyone needing a bench less for their workshop

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by dhadley press area too small
I bought this for my husband's work shop. He says it is way too small for anything that he would need to press. The window to put something in is only 12-16 inches. The advertisement says 6 tons, but there is nothing that would fit in the window , that would withstand 6 tons. I had to return it, to get a full standing square press, that has a window large enough for brake calipers or springs on a vehicle. Thanks to home depot though, they let me return it fully assembled with this explanation.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JD70 Good Handyman Shop Press
I bought this to press out lower ball joints in my Lincoln Mark VIII. I should have gone for the bigger press. It wouldn't do the job but that I do not think this the Shop Press fault, just not enough power. I have since used it on other projects and it worked well.
When assembling the A frame it was hard to get lined up square and the side plates wanted to overlap when everything was tightened down.
As a around the home handyman press it would be OK.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by alini3 Works like a champ
I read the reviews and I was cautious about ordering this. When I got it, its pretty straight forward assembly, BUT you must make sure you square it all up before tightening down the bolts. Took about an hour to assemble, square up and tighten everything. Took it out to the garage and pressed out 4 ball joints on my project car in no time. my only complaint, the plates for pressing on are not flat. The edges are rounded, so they like to walk on your when pressing.

This did the job but was not very well designed. I most definitely will re-design top to hold unit square. If you want a bench top shop press, an arbor press is about half the cost & about the same throat opening distance, with a smaller footprint. Should have bought a floor model.
