Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great for Price Nice product for less than 200 dollars. Great to order it online and have it shipped to the house for free. Easy assembly, worked right out of the box. So far using glass beads to remove rust off metal with no problems. Only downside is the beads sometimes clog up in the nozzle and won't come out the ceramic tip. Simply fixed by removing tip and cleaning out. February 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad for the money I wanted a small cabinet for frosting a few glass panes, and this has worked out fairly well. I have not used it that much yet, but I do have a few comments. The cabinet was not sealed particularly well, so some sand leaks out the bottom. I would recommend going over it closely before filling it with sand, and calking any leaks with silicone. The pickup tube opening is at one end of the cabinet, and the sand tends to collect near the center, so it takes a lot more than 10 lbs of sand to keep it from running 'dry'. I sometimes have to push some sand to the left to bury the tube. I'm using #80 garnet sand for glass frosting, but I've heard that glass beads flow better than sand. Because you're pumping air into the cabinet, you should have a vacuum connected to the filtered outlet, but it has to be just the right amount of vac pressure to prevent the cabinet from developing a strong vacuum inside, which will suck the gloves out of their mountings and warp the plexiglas. If I had more time and space I would consider making my own larger cabinet out of plywood and glass and just putting my money into the gun. The gun, by the way, does not work well below 80psi, and my small compressor cannot deliver enough flow at that pressure to work at more than about a 40% duty cycle. I have not tried all the nozzle sizes, however, just the one that came mounted on the gun. For the price, it was a good, quick solution for me. August 19, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The product appears to be well constructed. I can't do a complete review because I have not used the product yet. I probably will not be able to use it till we get warmer weather. February 18, 2014
