If I remember correctly the B&D 18 volt battery will fit any B&D 18 volt tool. Some of the batteries look different but will work. I hope this helps.

Answer:
If you get 15 min. of continuous run time it is lasting a about what it should. If you get more up to 30 min is very rare and great, but expect about 10- 18min is normal.

I have 3 batteries and in the early spring, I put 1 in the charger then I rotate the batteries every day. I have had pretty good luck that way. I don't seem to be overcharging any and they have lasted this will be the fourth year for them. During the winter I bring them into my basement and do the same thing except I charge for 24 hours once a week.

Just don't throw them into the Trash. Take them to an area in your Town that collects worn out Batteries and such. Most likely they have such a collection bin somewhere.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 92 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst battery ever.... These are terrible batteries. Including the battery that came with the trimmer and the 3 extra batteries I purchased all have become useless in a little more than a year. Don't bother buying any product with these batteries or extra batteries unless you like flushing money down the toilet. You learn the hard way not to buy NI-CAD batteries. They are not as durable but yet they still sell them for $40+ per battery. Look for devices that use LI-Ion batteries. They last longer. May 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth the money I purchased 2 Black & Decker lawn care tools about the same time. Each came with a battery and charger unit. One of the charger units had to be replaced within months of the purchase. B&D customer service replaced it. Since the buying the tools I have purchased 5 additional slide pack batteries. As of today, only 3 still hold a charge. May 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Fair battery life Battery life is brief and the charge doesn't last more then 15 minutes with a new fully-charged battery. April 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't count on more than 2 years use Used a handful of times before battery stopped holding charge. April 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fits right works great Charged it right up and put it to work! Great battery March 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Battery review Works great and fits all of power tools in its line. Charges fast, only wish it was a bit cheaper. February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Provides new life Our leaf blower burns through batteries, but a new one gives good power and lasts longer than older ones as they wear out. A good replacement. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good buy The original battery lasted close to three years. I love to use the blower at any time with a minimum effort. Cleaning the terrace full of dry leaves is a 5 minutes job.!! December 22, 2015
