I had a similar lawn mower purchased maybe 15+yrs ago. The starter finally when out.
I saw this online and it sounded just like my old one only a newer model.
Good brand name so I ordered it. Fast delivery, and I was so excited to try it.
This mower is so easy to start and it shuts off in an instant. Lightweight, easy to maneuver and having 1 lever to adjust all wheels is the greatest.
I have a large bumpy backyard and I'm in that 60+ age group, active female, mowing this yard can be a challenge.
I love this lawnmower. A+

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Missy It does the job
It does the job. It is not the best lawn mower, but I recommend it for people who have a small lawn. I also think this would not be good lawn mower for people growing long and thick grass (like tall fescue). I have tall fescue , which is growing rapidly, as well as thick, and the this lawn mower seems to slow down halfway into mowing. I have to stop and clear out the mower of cut grass. The cord also gets in the way no matter which way you have it. I recommend that you buy the side bag catcher and disappointed that they did not sell it together.
Recommend to : people with small lawns
Not recommend to : people with large lawns, tall fescue or thick growing grass

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Speedy Worst purchase ever.
I previously had a Black & Decker electric mower so ordered another when the electric part quit working on my old one after 18 years. After mowing with the new one 3 or 4 times, I decided I wanted to mow the grass a little shorter. Found out that the height adjustment won't stay in place below the position 5. It appears there is a bolt missing, at least there is a hole for one. Also, apparently the blade is dull as it doesn't cut very well. I never had to sharpen the blade on my old one. I am very disappointed and wished I had my money back.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jake Great little mower. Light weight a plus.
Very pleased with my purchase so far. It is perfect for a smaller lawn. It mulches well also.
I had a Honda self propelled model and the transmission failed and it was a bear to push manually.
The price of the Black & Decker was cheaper than the Honda repair so it was a no brainer decision.
After 60 years of mowing without a cord, it requires a little more effort to change your pattern but I am sure I can adapt to it.

In using this mower, the height adjustment lever kept slipping to the 0 position, meaning that I now have a burnt out lawn.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by citygirl7 Great mower!
I am disabled and it has been very hard for me to use my self propelled mower. I purchased this electric mulching mower and I love it. It is light weight and easy to push, mulches small sticks, leaves and easily cuts high thick grass areas. I will never go back to a regular mower again. Plus , no more gas containers in the garage and I like the fact that it is making the air we breathe a little cleaner.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by donjuanpablo Cuts well, but inferior raising/lowering mechanism
The mechanism that raises and lowers the entire mower with a single lever DOES NOT STAY in a locked position..........keeps popping out and dropping to the lowest height setting. I had to jury-rig something to hold the lever in place, b/c you cannot mulch propertly on the loweest height setting. I plan on returning it.
