3000 sq ft city lot. mower is wonderful I have a yard full of seeds and weeds and lost bag years ago. now I can finally bag all those seed heads. I keep the Bermuda grass fairly tall in the summer and can mow entire yard one charge.
trimmer is a dream. so tired of cranking of gas trimmer. initial trim used all first battery and started second only cause yard was in bad shape. now I due entire yard one battery then use second to cut grass growing in stone walking cause it takes some time even with gas and is hard on the string. I keep all batteries on charge like manual says so we will see how batteries perform in the long run

Love the mower, although I'm new to mowing. The bag holding the clippings could be better, as I noticed it leaves a small trail of clippings once it starts to get full. I don't know if this is normal, I just check midway to see how full it is, or once I notice the trail of clipping behind.
The trimmer is good also. Again, I'm new to this as well. It is powerful enough to cut some grown weeds. The battery lasted about 30-45 mins, but it does come with 2 so that's great. Enough for an average size yard.
I'm able to mow my front and back yards with a single charge from the mower, and same with the trimmer with both batteries.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Torben Works fine for my small yard.
Cuts as well as my old gasoline mower if grass is not too high. I appreciate not having to mess with the buying and handling gas, tune-ups, and changing oil that come with a gas mower. The 33 pound battery might be a problem for some, especially if you don't have a power source where you stow the mower and have to remove the battery to charge it. Grass bag easy to take on and off. Adjusting cutting height is a snap. Mower leaves small windrows of cut grass when in mulching mode. The fact that the nifty cordless trimmer was thrown in for free helped close the deal for me.Overall, I'm glad I made the switch.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by aboutsaffron good, but watch how tall your grass is!
Overall, I love this lawnmower. We've had it a couple months now, & it's working great! The only issue is that if the grass gets too high, it greatly diminishes how long the charge will last, which is understandable, given that it'll be using more power the more lush your grass is. So if you've had a lot of rain & your lawn is getting high, be prepared to split up your day! But if you mow in the morning until it runs out, it'll be back to a full charge by late afternoon, and you can finish later.
We have about a quarter of an acre, & so long as we mow every week to week-and-a-half, it does the entire lawn. It's fabulous not dealing with gas & oil! The bonus trimmer works great as well.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Julia This is a quiet lawnmower
Okay...in the past my experience with gas mowers were horrible. I decided to get and electric hoping to save money on those others. I have used it about 4 times and i have to say...i am VERY pleased. No hassle, no fuss, starts always and mowing the grass has never been easier!! My neighbors laughed at me for getting a battery operated lawn mower, but ......we will see whos laughing when his is in the shop for repair! lol! I told him he could borrow mine when that happens! love the new lawnmower, and weed eater!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AFNDUDE ULTIMATE CONVENIENCE!!!! We Love it!
After having 3 gas mowers die in 2 years, we said enough is enough! Gave it a good overnight charge as directed and it cut our 1/2 acre lawn with power to spare. Have used several times since, including letting the neighbor borrow it...now HE WANTS ONE! Best feature is the 1-touch height adjust. Worst feature...plug in spot on handle seems a little flimsy to me, we'll see over the months how it holds up. Trimmer is one of the reasons we bought the combo - already have one...so this makes a nice backup PLUS additional batteries for when ya forget to mow often enough.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JiRo An improved model
We bought this new B&D lawn mower to replace a similar machine that we had for a number of years. I wish the old one had lasted longer -- we had replaced the battery once, but this time it just died. The good thing about the new model is that the battery is mounted on the outside of the mower, meaning that it is way easier to replace the battery if necessary -- no need to take apart the mower. So far it's working about the same as the old one -- very good for an electric mower, and so much quieter than a gasoline mower.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kevin Definitely better than the cheaper model
I was borrowing the 24V model from a family member after purchasing my first home. With that particular model I had to charge it multiple times to take care of half of my yard. With the 36V model that I purchased I can take care of my entire front yard on one charge, and my back yard on another charge. It mows very well and does not get bogged down with taller grass.
Also, the trimmer works very well and I have had no problems with either piece of equipment in the month that I have been using them.
