Rated 3 out of 5Â by Wahwah Black & Decker Hedge Trimmer
I had just bought the Black and Decker hedge trimmer and was trying to use the lock on switch that it states in the information online about it but can't seem to figure it out. The manual does not say it has a lock on switch. It states that you have to hold the switch down for continuous running. One of the reasons I bought this was for the lock on switch but I am disappointed that it doesn't have one when it specified online that it did.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Coppertopfm Does the job Great
I have only used the trimmer once so far, but i was quite surprised at how easy it was able to cut through the thicker branches. It made my job go twice as fast. I would highly recommend this trimmer to my friends.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by biztybiz Good but not better than older model
The lock down switch does not keep the motor running without keeping the hand switch depressed.
The hand switch requires constant pressure with your whole hand and is very tireing. Unlike my older model which had a trigger like switch which only required the use of the index finger. Much less tireing than useing the entire hand.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mikey great product
This hedge trimmer performs very well on bushes as well as ground cover. The unit is well built and strong enough for half inch branches and is well balanced for one hand operation on ground cover.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by NoWorriesFarm lightweight and works well, 20 inch blade length was perfect
The trimmer is lightweight for a woman to use. It didn't cut through branches more than half inch in diameter very well, but for thinner branches, it worked great. The 20 inch blade is easy to maneuver and balance so the size was perfect for me. A longer blade would have been too awkward and a shorter blade is not effective if you have to reach far from you.
