This amazingly gorgeous mass of a rose plant/bush stands about 10 feet tall . I need to take about 3 feet of the circumfrance but it's a serious task to stand near those thorns . The branches I could barely lopper by hand

Answer:
Your Best Bet is to go online to www.blackanddecker.com/support/find-a-service-center and find the nearest Black and Decker Service near your location. Depending on the Service, or Maintenance needed, get an estimate, and find out how long it will take to repair. Sometimes it's better to make an informed decision. It maybe cheaper in the long run to replace the unit. Hope this helps you.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5by 130 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0by Very Good Was a bit concerned that this electric trimmer wouldn't be able to handle the larger branches of the bushes being trimmed. It took a second or two to chew through the 1/2" plus thick ones but it handled them quite well. Love the twisting handle for better positioning yourself to trim in different spots. Only used twice now but has been a great machine for the money! October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0by Perfect Trimmer You could never go wrong with Black and Decker. I have a huge yard with big Holy Bushes this trimmer just breezed right thru and it maneuverable and easy use. I would recommend this product to anyone who love a manicured yard. May 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0by Swivel feature makes a big difference The swivel feature is great. Makes it easier to cut tops and sides of bushes by swiveling to three different angles. Highly recommend it. October 12, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0by Average trimmer The black and decker trimmer is an adequate product. It is worked well on smaller diameter limbs and struggled with 3/4" limbs. Over all I was satisfied with its performance. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0by Great purchas The trimmer is easy to use. Love the extra reach. The rotating handle is a great feature. September 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0by Electric Hedge Trimmer only used once but did everything it said and the rotating handle did make it easier it did cut through some think branches with ease September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0by Great trimmer My old B&D trimmer died so I was undecided between a cordless or electric one, since I have to trim about 35 hemlocks on my property each year. I tried my sons 20v cordless but the battery lasted 3 trees so I felt the best for me was an electric trimmer. I was skeptical of this one but the good reviews changed my mind. I'm glad I purchased it, I used it for the first time today and was able to trim about 20 trees in 2 hours. It is like cutting through butter with a hot knife using this trimmer. It is comfortable to use and light enough to comfortably cut above shoulder level. (Most of my trees avg around 6-7ft). The switch lock is nice as well as the cord lock. The cord didn't come unplugged once during my use. So far I would highly recommend this trimmer. August 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0by Acceptable trimmer with a Great Reach The trimmer has an excellent reach, the extra 2 in of reach make a big difference for me. The cutting capacity is good on most hedges, the old established for many years are harder to cut without using as gas powered trimmer. If you take your time you can cut almost everything. The really hard old wood or thick will require a heaver and more costly trimmer. Good trimmer for the price. Big plus is the lock on feature if you pull the enable button, then the trigger, then release the trigger, then the enable the system locks on until slight pressure is applied to the trigger.
