Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jeri I have not used it too much yet but I do like how it works and that it is lightweight.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by eel the garden shear only works with the small blade of the two
the first one I purchased only worked for a few minutes with the longer blade. I returned it to the store
they exchanged it (with an attitude from customer service). The second one is doing the same thing!!!
The clipper works very well with the small blade only.....

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jim Very poor
Just bought these and they will not trim anything. You have to hold the piece of grass in one hand and saw at it with the trimmer to cut anything at all. Horrible tool. Am taking it back to Home Depot asap.

Box says the battery life is 18 hours. We charged it for days and battery only lasts a few hours.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GrandJunctionGardener Very low battery life and blade dulled quickly
If you have more than one bed to trim, forget this tool! Takes a day to recharge and works for about 10 minutes then you have to recharge. After third time using, blade was very dull and did not cut very well.
Now that I now this would have spent the money on a more expensive model that is on the market... Basically its garbage, waste of my money.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jnschanke Best Ever Hand Shear
We have an area around a Koi pond that has to be hand trimmed and this garden shear is the best. I previously used scissors and it took a long time to complete. Now I can buzz right along and keep the grass at bay and nothing goes in the pond.
