Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hatch Good Pole Saw for general trimming duty
I purchased this Pole Saw for general tree trimming around my house. So far, it has been up to the task, clearing out the overhang on three trees on my property. The fully extended pole has a good reach, and I’ve cut through branches up to 5 inches in diameter quickly on a full charge. I used it for half of the summer for basic trimming/clean-up (not heavy duty), and it performs well fully charged. Basically if you follow the instructions on proper use, maintenance and lubrication (it is not self lubricating), and don’t abuse the tool, it should be good for years of use.

I purchased this pole saw based on the reviews of others. I wanted a battery powered saw but could not decide on the brand or model. I got this one because of price, the reviews, and the return policy.
I was able to cut all of the branches around and above me home this saving me more than the cost if this item. I was able to cut until I decided to quit, which was nice. It cut through every branch including the small ones without the chain coming off track.
I gave it 5 stars because it allowed me to do what I intended to do without issue. Oiling the chain prior to cutting is minor. The only thing that I could really say need improvement is the weight balance. With the extension piece in t is top heavy so you have to balance it using your hands/arms. But then again, it is not recommended for use when you are not on solid ground. I had the issue when on a ladder or on my roof.

I am not the strongest person but was able to handle this chainsaw easily and safely to prune broken tree branches after a severe wind storm. It's fairly quiet, hardly any vibration while I'm using it and cuts quickly at just about any angle I had to make.

The 8 in. 20-Volt Lithium-Ion Electric Cordless Pole Saw is very handy for the trimming we needed to do.
It' comes apart and stores with ease.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quicksilver Surprised how long it ran on one Battery
I used the trimmer for two to three Hours pretty heavy use, before it ran down..I cut off several three to four inch branches.I was impressed it cut as good as it did, perfect for what I need ..I have as decent sized chain saw but needed the for trimming branches growing downward.I probably will get an extra battery ,but I was ready to stop when it ran out of power.
I had it shipped, shipping was to the house, which was nice, and got fairly quick considering I ordered before a holiday weekend.
As with most products the biggest drawback is getting used to the safety switch
I would definitely recommend it for a homeowners with a few. trees

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GPA1 Great special applications tool
This chainsaw is a must for safely removing branches that would normally be out of reach. I used the saw to prune oak trees, removing branches up to 6 inches in diameter. I would have given the saw a score of 5 if it came with two batteries and a rapid charger. I ordered a second battery yesterday, but still feel that having to wait 6-8 hours for a recharge is too long when half way through a task. Battery lasted about 25-30 cuts. Once branches were safely on the ground a gas chainsaw was utilized to reduce them to firewood and manageable debris. This pole saw was an excellent addition to my yard tool arsenal.

I've used it for two months now, using it to get my yard spring-ready, also using the 20v pole hedge trimmer. I waited to get all the way around my house before writing this review. I started with four 20' / 6" pepper tree suckers...Cutting was no problem, battery lasted about 15 minutes per charge, 5-8 hrs to recharge. Nice having both tools to swap out the batteries. Using the pole saw on bouganvilla was a bit more problematic: Small stuff under about 1/2" can derail the chain and the hedge trimmer head is a bit heavy for a lot of overhead. I decided to get a rapid charger and found the 20v 3/8" cordless drill with battery and rapid charger, under $90. Batteries now charge in about 30 minutes, and who can't use another cordless drill?
