This was a good purchase for the price. It has performed very well so far. Needs to have an auto oiler, but not that big a deal.

excellent product for the price . slightly front heavy when fully extended but does the job for small to medium high limbs just fine.

This battery operated tool is great for cutting limbs that are too far up the tree to reach.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Randomlyjames Works great!
Batteries are long lasting cuts better than my 16" plug in electric. Pole is lightweight and replacement chain is inexpensive.
My only wish is that the saw could disconnect from the pole and be used as a small chainsaw

For the money this is a good purchase. It has a nice design and a long battery life. However, the cutting ability of the saw is limited and it will struggle to cut through large branches.

It is a plastic electric pole saw. It will not do the work of a full size chain saw. However, accepting what you have, it does great. It will cut 4 inch diameter limbs with ease. No maintenance with an electric so I am very happy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by yabojason Nice pole saw, effective and relatively powerful, low noise, no mess
I already had several of the B&D tools in the 18V line, so I knew what I was and wasn't getting as far as power versus gas-powered tools. However, I was still pleasantly surprised at the amount of cutting power in this pole saw. It is perfect for the average homeowner's tree pruning and landscaping needs. The only drawback, which affected my rating in the Features and Ease of Use categories, as well as the overall rating, is that the bar and chain oil must be applied directly to the chain as there is no on-board reservoir. Since the lubrication is the life of a chain saw, I find myself perhaps over-lubricating for fear of running dry...and it is a bit of a hassle to stop completely, lay down the saw, find the oil bottle and apply drops, etc., etc. However, other than that, this is an easy to use tool that gets the job done as advertised, with long battery life, and with none of the usual mess and noise associated with gas-powered chainsaws.
