I was mainly interested in the vacuum feature. It works well. Has quite a lot of pickup power and the bag is in a very convent location. Good size, easy to strap on and to empty. Assembly was a snap (no pun intended. One drawback is that the plastic assembly that holds the vacuum barrel to the motor is somewhat flexible. This makes the vacuum go off unexpectedly because it relieves pressure on the safety switch. If you hold the vacuum just right, you can prevent this. You can probably rig a more permanent solution.

Highly recommend getting this attachment. You'll spend more time emptying the standard bag than vacuuming otherwise.
Works really good

This was an idea I had thought of several years ago. Very glad I purchased. The major downside is the challenge to keep the mesh secured consistently. It is hard to keep it "locked". Granted I used once, but if this doesn't pan out I will make my own.

I'd like to put "maybe" when it comes to recommending this product, but it wasn't an option. It's a neat gadget and saves time, but it has some weak points and seems fragile. As others have mentioned, the drawstring that holds the bag to the can is nearly useless. Clipping a bungee cord around the rim is the only way to keep it on. As to fragility, the hose developed a kink in the middle the second time I used it. I still don't know how this happened. It hasn't interfered with performance yet, but I'm concerned for the long term.
