Product Overview

Preserve valuable counter space while still enjoying the benefits of a toaster oven with this convenient under-the-cabinet unit. The toaster oven not only saves on space, but it also offers simple operation with its touch-button control panel and LCD display. Choose from bake, toast, and keep-warm functions. The appliance's bake function offers an energy-efficient alternative to turning on the full-size oven, or it can be used in addition to the conventional oven when cooking for a crowd during the holidays or other special occasions. Use the toaster oven to bake anything from fish fillets, chocolate-chip cookies, and crescent rolls to potatoes, side dishes, frozen pizzas (fits a 9-inch pizza), and more. For toasting, its spacious interior will accommodate up to four slices of bread at a time, and the up/down arrows make it easy to select from seven different shade settings, from light to dark. In keep-warm mode, the toaster oven can maintain an ideal serving temperature of previously cooked food, without over cooking. The oven's user-friendly control panel also provides a 30-minute timer with a signal bell, the ability to increase or decrease the time and temperature, a start button with an "on" indicator light, and a cancel button for ending the session at any time.

  • Mountable under the cabinet
  • 4 slice or 9 inch pizza capacity
  • Touch button controls with LCD display
  • Toast, Bake and Warm function with 30 minute timer
  • Drop down crumb tray
  • Save-a-Plug outlet - power 4 SpaceMaker appliances with only 2 wall outlets

SpaceMaker Digital Toaster Oven-DISCONTINUED is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Makes Great Toast. We got this a few weeks ago and were able to get it mounted under our cupboard. That part was difficult for old folks. Get some kids to help. Ok we got it mounted and it makes great toast. I am finding no way to turn the oven on with out involving the timer. You would think you could push, Bake - Set Temp - On. Bingo simple on and off. Please correct me if I'm over looking something. Old folks don't want a 5 second timer counting down while pushing buttons. I highly recommend it as a toaster.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Front brackets will not secure. Bought this trying to save some counter space. Template was spot on. Directions manual not even close. Had to follow directions to secure unit in second part about hanging under a cabinet with a lip. Why are the mounting directions different. Someone got front and back mixed up. Now cannot secure two front tabs. One side will secure then other falls off. Frustrating now that I have holes in my cabinet. Hood is on and back brackets secure. Front bracket won't stay on, falls off with any kind of force. If there is a solution send it asap or back it goes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not enough colors This is my third oven. The first I wore out.The second one a white one the knobs broke I fixed them they lasted for awhile but broke again. I called Black&Decker they said they no longer had knobs so they kindly sent me a new one. I also have the coffee maker and the can opener all white they sent me black&silver. We called them and they said all they had was the black & silver one.So we took the sides off the no knob white one and put them on the one they sent us and now it matches with the rest of them.My point they need more colors especially white as it goes with everything. But I thank them for the one they sent me! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible to install Insanely difficult to install..I have installed many, and this, by far, was the worst. Poor and flimsy materials. Lso, the timer bell is so faint, you can hardly hear it. And, there isno safe way to remove the racks when the food is heated. Very unsafe!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible installation I bought this toaster oven because my under counter Toastmaster died. It served us well. I wanted something under counter, so I decided on the B&D under counter. As was said before, holes don't line up well, screws aren't long enough. After a trip to hardware store, we FINALLY got the "hanger" installed. Now, the horrible part....Cannot get the oven to stay in place. Have read the directions over and over and over. The oven connects to the top, but once you open the door, the oven falls off. There seems to be something missing to ANCHOR the oven to the top base. Needless to say, this will be going back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Controls Too Complicated I had the prior generation for 17 years and loved it! This one ... I use it and like that it fits under the cabinet. In the world of tech, there's a famous saying that goes something like "try to make something as simple to operate as a toaster" yet here they've made something as complicated to operate that I now need a manual :-/ The old dials did not require thinking--sure there was no timer, yet I knew how to use it! I'm only giving the 2nd star because I do love that this fits under the counter so I deal with it; however, if they come up with a better model that fits into this "tray" then I will upgrade in a heartbeat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult Installation I bought this unit as a replacement for a 25 year old Black & Decker Spacemaker that was still working. The old one was still serving us well but was showing some wear. Installation went smoothly until it was time to mount the hood and then things went south quickly. My cabinet has an overhang that is 1" high so I added the two 1/2" spacers just as the manual calls for. Oops, whoever wrote the manual forgot to account for the extra 3/4" height of the hood. When I add that extra distance, even the longest provided screw is about 1/2" too short. Fortunately I kept the screws from the old oven, but they were about 1/2" too long so I cut them and was able to use them. Getting the rear screws in with 1 3/4" of spacers was next to impossible, but again I was fortunate to have saved the spacers from the old unit. The old ones are designed to grip the screws so you don't need three hands to install the unit. It looks like someone at B&D tried to save a few pennies on the spacers. I've finally got my unit mounted and ready to use. Hopefully I won't experience the problem of the oven coming loose from the hood that others have experienced. Time will tell and I'm hopeful this unit will function better than it installed. I'll give an update later on that. My advice to you: Have someone actually try to follow the directions in the manual before you publish it.
