Product Overview

The BOGS Bowman Camo hunting boot is one of the lighter weight hunting boots available. Completely waterproof with a non-slip, non-marking and self-cleaning deep lug outsole, designed to release mud and crud to always give you a sure step in the field. The thermo-molded EVA midsole and dual-density, contoured EVA insole give you unparalleled comfort in a hunting boot. The BOGS Max-Wick and ever dry lining pulls sweat away from your feet, keeping them dry and comfortable, which can often be the biggest challenge. Keep your boots free from odor-causing bacteria with BOGS DuraFresh bio-technology, while 6 mm of BOGS Neo-Tech Lite insulation keeps your feet warm and comfortable from temperate to minus 40-degrees Fahrenheit. The BOGS signature easy-on handles make it easier to pull on and a heel kick on back makes it easier to remove. The upper reaches high so you can wade through creeks and sink into snowdrifts without a second thought. Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Qual Bought these for my son for his birthday. He loves them. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Best wife, not Best boot I had been looking for some new hunting boots since mine were getting worn out after about 6 years of use. My brother had got a regular pair of bogs from his father-in-law for christmas (he's a size 17) and was so impressed they made boots in his size and with how warm the were when he went ice fishing, so I thought I would give them a try. I ended up picking out these boots but didn't really want to fork over the money for them. My wife, being awesome, got them for me and I couldn't have been happier for a month and a half (while they were sitting in the box before hunting season). After wearing them the first day the material on the heel inside the boot started coming apart at the seam. After 4 days of use I had a hole worn almost through one pair of thick wool Patagonia socks and another pair of Acorn fleece socks and not blisters, but raw spots on my heels. After looking in the boot and feeling around I found that they put this little half circle harder piece of plastic or something with a hard stitched seam on your heel and then right above that was the other seam that I mentioned a minute ago that was coming apart. The rubber on the bottom of the boot does not grip very well at all on wet rocks and wood, I found myself having a lot less traction than my last pair of boots and fell a few times in the woods. I have found with these boots that it takes a lot longer to dry moisture out of them than my other boots, I'm assuming because of the thicker lining that bogs have. Other than the not so grippy bottoms, walking in the woods I find them a bit awkward and clunky, not horrible, but definitely not as maneuverable and quiet as I would have liked. I also didn't really like the hand-hold cut outs, they are not really needed to get the boots on, and you loose a couple of inches for water depth. You can feel the top of the boot on your leg, but not the hand cut-outs, so you are never quite sure how deep you dare to go in the water. My brother really likes his for warmth, but he also has the same problems with awkwardness walking in the woods and slickness of the soles. His did not have the heel problem or the hand cut-outs though. I really wanted to like them, the camo is awesome, but there are too many problems for me. I guess I will be returning them and going back to same boot I've used forever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will buy this boot as long as they exist I have never had a pair like this. I am 6'6" and 300lbs and use a climbing stand every day. These boots are the ones to have. Thanks BOGS

Rated 4 out of 5 by from decent so far pretty expensive boot. warranty sold me as well as other consumers. fit really well and feet dont seem to sweat. since its a rubber boot, you dont get the ankle support you would from a leather boot so high hill climbs are more difficult. traction seems ok. hours of walking will tire your ankles because of stiffness of rubber. really confortable to stand in and great for really wet/marshy areas. creek crossing is easy. easy to clean. a little lighter than my 1000g leather Redwings.
