I bought this saw for the size (cut 24" tile) and the price obviously. Home do it your selfer with slate 18" and 24" tile to cut. Set up was a breeze. Once you learn how to use it like any new tool it was a breeze. It was going to cost me $80.00 per day to rent a saw that would cut what i needed. I still have 3 bathrooms to do and can't wait to use the saw again.
I did purchase a new professional wet saw blade before I even took it out of the box. No problem with assembly. Squared up easily. No complaints on the rip guide.
The only problem i had was the really long cuts when the 18" is on the 45 it is about 25" I broke a couple on those cuts. Once I figured that out it was great.
For the do it youselfer this is a great tool.

After reading reviews I almost didnt purchase this saw but I decided to give it a chance. The set up took me about 1/2 hour. The saw itself was great I used it to tile an entire 8x6 bathroom from floor all the way up to ceiling and this saw never missed a beat. It mitered and plunged perfectly. The next comparable saw was hundreds of dollars more .

The quality of the saw is very high. I have used high quality saws in my work and found the quality of this saw to be equal. In addition, the tilting ability of this saw kept me from a huge headache. The job I used it on needed a marble threshold under a screen door but it had to be ripped down to proper width as well as length. Then it had to be beveled. The saw worked like a dream. If you take care of your tools, your tools will take care of you.

We bought this last year and have used it to tile the hallway and dining room as well as a complete tile job on a gutted bathroom. You do need to buy a new blade, don't use the one that ships with the saw because its garbage. The saw works very well, no complaints about that. Only problem is the water pump which gets clogged rather easily so you might have to clean it a couple of times between uses, also don't forget to take the screen off at the end of each day and run water through it to clean it so sediment can't build up inside.
All around a great value, you really can't go wrong here.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Carlos2010 It’s worth the price and more!
I purchased this saw in order to install the porcelain tile in my new home. The machine works great! So far I have completed my kitchen, hall way, laundry room, and one bathroom. The blade it came with works fine but the only complaint I have is the rip guide. Mine broke with hardly any use. The aluminum construction is cheap and the company could have gone with an iron guide that would withstand a little pressure and longer lifetime. Rather than spending a couple thousand dollars, I have spent less than five hundred in tools and this saw works wonders if you know how to truly use it! If you are working on a large project I highly recommend purchasing this saw especially if you get it at the sale price of $350.

This was the best wet saw I could find for the price. Very nice to have a unit powerful and large enough to take on bigger tiles. The only issue I have with the unit is the water pump. The design could be better and the pump could be larger. After about 80 cuts you need to change out the water because the pump simply won't push the dirty water. At least the tray is easy to drain and clean so it is not too much of a hassle, but it is inconvenient.

I am an avid home improvent guy, and I bought this saw to cut some natural stone for a fireplace remodel. So far, the saw has worked flawlessly. This is a great buy for the cost. I am cutting 1" to 1-3/4" natural stone at 45 degrees with no problem-and using the stock included blade. I have only had the saw for about six weeks, but so far, I highly recommend it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by lam347 heavy, very complicated setup.
bought it because it on sale at HD and free shipping. it take me 2 hour to put it together. Try to start it, the motor running but the blade got stuck, after remove the blade and the nut. Don't know why there was a rubber washer there behind the blade that cause the blade to get stuck, after remove the rubber washer then it work. I still can not get the angle cut yet still working on it. Spent your money on something else better. My big mistake to buy this without any preview.
