CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by It is OK for straight cuts, but not for curves I bought this product at Home Depot for my bathroom project. I needed a tool to cut curves. It is NOT easy to follow the curve with this product like they show on Youtube. Since there is almost no friction between the cut wheel and surface of a tile it is very difficult to follow the marked line especially when you are applying pressure on it. No matter how many times I tried to cut Glazed Porcelain Tile I ended up breaking the tile. If you need to cut small curves use a cheap Rod blade for your hack saw. It takes a while to cut but results are very good. Or use Diamond cut wheel and a grinder or a drill. It produces a lot of dust and noise but makes nice cuts. April 21, 2010
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not happy This tool is very hard to use and have it make a useable cut, and while it did not break the first time I used it, it did break the third or forth time I "tried" to use it. Unless you have much more skill than me, you are better of springing for a saw or more complex cutter September 2, 2009
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not buy Tool broke on the first cut. I wish i would have read the reviews before buying. the rubber grip that holds the tile while trying to snap the tile split right down the center on the first cut. DO NOT BUY. Home Depot should take this off the store shelves. December 19, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not Purchase I should have known not to purchase this poor excuse for a tool, considering all but a few of them were taped up and put back on the shelf. Research and find a better tool for the job...attempted to use this cutter on porcelain tiles. July 2, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by doesn't do the job I have 2" tiles. The tool is not adjustable for thickness, so thin tiles won't work without some sort of shim. After scoring (wheel worked poorly) tile shattered randomly for both attempts. I'm returning it May 15, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Poor Quality Dont buy this product the first time I used it, the tool broke. It isnt even worth 1 star. Not worth the money at all! March 5, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No problem with cutter Glad I did not read the reviews before purchasing this item, as I probably would not have gotten it. I am a novice at installing tile and these were recommended by the HD person. I have not had any problem with them. As noted by the some others, it will not cut smaller or thin tile, for me that has not been an issue. October 16, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Verry handy tool Good tool fast, handy verry easy to use ergonomic grips are a plus. September 4, 2011
