Product Overview

Keep your gun collection organized and protected with the BUFFALO 32 Rifle Capacity Gun Safe with Door Organizer. The three-spoke handle keeps rifles and handguns secure behind a 14-Gauge steel door and body. The pry-resistant recessed door and notched bolts keep your firearm collection safe and sound. Instead of storing each rifle and handgun in its own case, you can safely and easily display your entire collection in this safe. Fully adjustable interior shelves can be customized to your collection and hold a maximum of 32 rifles. The felted surface on the interior and shelves protect stocks and barrels from scratches. The durable PVC door organizer with 11 pockets (six zipper pockets and six handgun holsters) provide even more space to store small handguns, ammo, scopes, slings and more. The safe is also fireproof to 1200 Degree F for up to 40 minutes. A predrilled starter hole makes it easy to install a humidifier or light inside the safe, and does not affect fire protection. The safe comes with two keys and allows you to set your own numeric combination on the keypad.

I do not believe so. I removed mine a few times and I did not have to reprogram it. The safe also comes with two master keys so you always have a mechanical back up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not purchase this safe! Not pry-resistant at all We purchased 3 of these to use in our stores. Our store got broke into, they were able to use a pry bar and get the door open about 4 inches. The cylinders down the side of the door, do not stay behind the inner wall of the safe when locked. You can turn handle while locked and they move allowing the side of he door to be pried open. The one top cylinder stayed in place or else they would of been able to get the door fully open. I checked the other 2 safes to see if it was a flaw in the one, or a trait. Same thing happens to all three. These are being returned and we will purchase another brand that actually doesn't let the cylinders move while locked. Returning for a safe that works!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the Money In this case you get what you pay for. I purchased it to keep small hands from accessing the guns and it will do that just fine. The safe is working well, but the gaps in the door would make it easier for a thief to break in. The seal isn't real tight so I don't know if it would affect how fireproof it is during a fire. I was able to add power and lighting to it pretty easily. It has only been a few weeks. So far no issues with the electronic lock that others have had with their safes. I would recommend the safe for the reason listed above. If you are looking for something to really keep others out you would want to get something with a full steal plate door and tighter gaps, but it will cost you more as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Nice safe, with a couple caveats.... This is a very nice safe for the money. Overall, I am pleased with the size and value but I think it's important to point out a couple of things: 1. The left side is set up for long guns which sit on the floor and lean upward against some scalloped felt-covered boards to keep them in place (very standard for safes). The RIGHT side of the safe is also set up for allowing some long guns. This is done by some added scallops on the right side of the same board that is scalloped on the left....so you have a skinny board, double-scalloped on both sides. This area for rifles on the right side takes up some valuable shelf space. The safe comes with several shelves which can be placed according to your own design using clips and slotted bars mounted on the sides (also standard). The problem is if you don't need to place rifles in the right side of the safe, you can place some shelves along that side BUT because of the skinny double scalloped, flimsy board, placing a shelf there (the only way to place one in that area), you can't be confident it will support any weight. In fact, I believe that if you placed a can of Ammo on a shelf supported by the double-scalloped board, it would probably give way. In other words, their design allowing rifles in the right side does not allow good structural strength for a shelf there. As a result, I bought some 2" L brackets and installed them underneath the scallops to give it the strength necessary to support weight on that shelf. 2. The clips that the shelves sit on are very cheap PLASTIC clips that don't positively "snap" into the tracks. Most safes in this price range use METAL clips that are installed at an angle and snap into place. The plastic clips are, in my opinion, cheap and seems to be an unnecessary cost-saving measure. They're pretty crummy. This safe is a good mid-level safe for someone who wants to keep their weapons secure. Search the Internet and look for videos about how easy these types of safes are to get into with a pry bar and determination. This safe is heavy but, quite honestly, with stamped steel safes along this price point, don't be deceived into thinking they are impenetrable. Just be informed. Given that, this is a nice safe that will provide adequate security at home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase I was able to move it and install it with help of one additional person, easy installation and code configuration procedure. However, there are 4 additional holes in corners, used for removable metal rails, that could be used for additional anchors, but there are only two anchor screws in the set. With total of six anchors the safe would be better attached to the floor, once the rails were removed, one person can easily maneuver and set-up the safe with a use of a standard dolly. Positive feature, multiple adjustable shelves, and a lot of pockets on the door. Good quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gun Safe Shipping was handled nicely, well packaged to avoid damage. Getting the battery into the keypad took about 10 minutes. Also, setting my own code took about 20 minutes. Does not have a key, only 6-digit key code.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buffalo Gun Safe Best safe on the market for the money. I am 100% satisfied with the product. What made it even more satisfying was the delivery service especially the driver. He put the 500 lbs safe exactly where I wanted it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good safe Bought this to replace a safe that was overflowing. It was not quite big enough for all of my guns and ammo so plan ahead. Overall a good safe just wish I would have gone bigger
