Most of the holes are pre-drilled, BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND power tools. Some of the holes didn't line up perfectly and had to be "modified." So in summary... buy or borrow a power drill/driver to put this together. It would have taken twice as long had I not had mine. In fact, my battery died and I had to borrow my father-in-laws! Read Less

What is the weight restriction? Can an adult go on the swing along with the child? Is it a sturdy set?

Doesn't list a weight limit. Just says ages 3-10. I wouldn't recommend an adult swinging on it!

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Planning is key Some confusion with which bolts and nuts go where but overall good product. Plan on about 3 8 or so hour days and lay it all out. August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality product and value Good Quality product and value. Well engineered. Comprehensive instructions made assembly very straight forward. While individual wood pieces are fairly thin, when assembled the play set is very sturdy. I was particularly pleased with the individual packages for the hardware (and the routine inclusion of an extra fastener for many packages to allow for dropped and lost pieces in the grass). That, coupled with the clear marking on all the wood made assembly a lot easier! I recommend taking the time at the beginning and organizing the wood pieces and hardware bags (a table adjacent to the work area for the hardware works great) as it will help speed assembly a lot. I also recommend drilling of pilot holes to prevent splitting. I was very pleased with the play set (as is my granddaughter and her friends) and recommend it to those looking for an economical set for small children. August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Playset I assembled this on my own and it took 14.5 hours. All part of the process. Well worth the time for my grandson. It is well built and very sturdy. Must ensure its on perfectly level ground. Well worth the cost. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super cute, Great size! This is the perfect size for my back yard. I didnt want something to big but I wanted something big enough that would last and this is perfect. I wish the wood was stronger, while putting it together boards started to split. Other than that this is a great buy and super cute! May 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unsatisfactory Besides it took long to get it. The slide was all bent up once I received it. July 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product_Not So Great Assembly Instructions My son and I required about 16 hours to fully assemble the Playset. Once completed, we and the 2-year old grandson were delighted to see how attractive it is and how many play features it has. If only the instructions were improved in two ways, my overall rating would be 5 stars. First, we could not read the part reference on many of the pieces, a big problem because of hundreds of pieces to be assembled. It appears the ink had absorbed into the cedar causing the letters and numbers to be unreadable. Second, several (3 or 4) of the planks were not marked as to whether the slots should be on the upper or lower edge and/or which end the placed them, requiring in some cases that we disassemble and reassemble portions of the structure. It seems these improvements could be made with relative ease and this would make the assembly work less frustrating and not nearly as time-consuming. July 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for a toddler I bought this set for my 2+ year old. She loves it, however I doubt it would hold up to the wear and tear of an older kid or multiple kids. I only had one problem during assembly and that was a split piece of wood, even after drilling a pilot hole. I would recommend to anyone trying to save a little money while still giving their toddler a place to swing and slide. June 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product overall for price. It does take forever to assemble and the wood is weak (no adults climbing on this one!) but for the overall price it was a great buy though! June 24, 2016
