I bought a roll of this bamboo to wrap around a 6x6 posts I installed for a shade sail...Its adds just the right amount of flair I was looking for!...the one downside I found was that the mahogany stain on the bamboo will bleed a bit when wet...not a huge deal...but annoying...overall I'm very satisfied!...delivery was as promised, and the bamboo, in a large box and weighing approx 65lbs, was not damaged in any way...they are wrapped up very nicely in the box...no damage. I would definately recommend this if your on the fence...

I got this product and it is VERY dark, almost black. I can't see red in it like my other order of same brand and color. Some of the bamboo has cracks in it, looks like maybe the shipper's threw the $50 pound boxes around a bit. My customer in her late 80's cannot see well and she says: "Put it up!" If it were mine, I would have sent it back for a refund!

This fence changed my back yard. It looks so beautiful for the back drop of my flowers. I purchased the 6ft high one to cover my neighbors rotten looking fence and the open section of it that she took down. Due to the height we positioned the stakes closer together and made sure they came at least half up the fence to secure it.

But really...I bought this bamboo fencing to attach to my deck and give me some more backyard privacy. It is made of very sturdy and thick bamboo. The color is a rich dark wood tone. The height is perfect, and for my project, more than enough length. My only complaint I guess would be that the bamboo is not quite close enough to one another for total privacy, you can see through the little spaces between which are about a quarter of an inch apart. I looked around locally and the price was competitive even with shipping cost.

Our back neighbor suddenly decided to tear down his hold wooden fence and replace it with a 6' silver chain link. Ugly enough, but they used the part of the yard we now had to view as a dumping ground for all their unused toys, paint cans and junk. We got the Bamboo fence rolls to reduce visibility and block off the new view. It arrived in good condition and we wired it in ourselves with 18 ga wire - using the new fence to support it (and we even asked their permission, which they didn't do for us...). Took about a day to set up 64 feet and it created a nice visual block. When the light falls on their side, you can still see through it, so maybe the 2" size would have been better to reduce visibility. But it is acceptable. The bamboo made all kinds of pops for the first day or so, when the sun hit it, but has not cracked or shifted. (We used 4-5 wire wraps, spaced ~2' apart horizontally, with an extra set at each end). Good value for this purpose.

The fence has a beautiful deep color when you first install it. However, even after sealing it, the color fades to a bland yellow gold. I would never spend the money and the time it took to install this product again. Dont be fooled.

Great purchase! I placed this fence against an ugly yellow patio divider on my small outdoor patio in Queens NY. It's decorative and blends well with the plants and flowers. Very nice addition and pleasing to the eye!! I highly recommend this product!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Vadim Practically all bamboo sticks had cracks in them
Practically every bamboo stick had cracks in them because it was derailed trough one side of the bamboo and when you do that drill coming from inside of the other side of bamboo crack it. Not sure how it is going to held up in changing weather will it crack farther? Since now water for sure going to get inside of it.
