I had the guys in HD cut it in half lengthwise and there was a bit of fraying at the cut but not too bad.

If your intention is to cover the upper portions of the brick wall, I might suggest that using some masonry screws and s/steel wire be used to support the bamboo fencing at a uniform 6 foot 7 inch height along the top. Of course this will look a little odd along the bottom, unless you have some shrubbery there. Since I do not know the details of your situation, there is little more advice that I can Read More

Howdy Tata,
you could put this Bamboo fencing over the brick wall higher than the tallest part and they will all look the same height from your side.

Unroll the fencing flat against the existing 3 foot chain link fence. With help from another person, secure bamboo fencing to chain link posts first, with either heavy-duty twine or 16 gauge steel wire. Make sure to loop wire or twine around 2-3 bamboo staves, then around posts, at both top and bottom of posts. Then, if needed, secure at additional points between posts, at top and bottom, through bamboo Read More

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 44 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by We'll see... Several sections of this bamboo fencing was purchased to create a 'blind', augmenting our chain-link fencing around our rescued fawn pen. The wildlife rescue facility uses quite a lot of both bamboo AND reed fencing for the same purpose...reducing visual stress on rescued wildlife, during their rehab period. Time and weather will tell how good this fencing is. May 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quality, Durable Our goal is to replace the chain link fence around our patio with a stockade fence for privacy, but we decided to hold off for a few years and spend our money elsewhere. In light of this, we decided to see what options existed for a durable, high quality, affordable privacy cover for the chain link in the meantime. We were tired of replacing the flimsy reed fencing year after year and after some research, decided that bamboo fit the bill. It was easy to install (need two people), it's been through a couple storms and hasn't budged, and it adds ambience and privacy. Very pleased with our purchase. August 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best fencing ever!!! I used this fencing at another home in the desert for 6 years, took it down when I moved to a new home and put it up there! It was still perfect after all that time with the sever weather changes, wind, cold, heat of the desert. I just purchased another 10- 6x8 ft rolls for another chain link fence in my back yard! We used stainless steel wire to attach the fencing to the chain link, and it is perfect. Plenty of privacy with a beautiful ambience. Love love it! March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is quick and easy to install We purchased this product to attach to our chain link fence surrounding our pool. Attached easily to fence and provides the privacy that we were trying to achieve. will probably purchase more to cover more areas. We are really pleased with this product and the ease of installing it May 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful privacy that's easy to install Where I live row homes with small backyards are the norm. They are often divided with chainlink fence. By attaching the rolled bamboo fence directly to the existing fence with zip ties, I was able to create a private outdoor area that still allows air flow. It looks great and I love it! And, I did it in less than a day. July 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install and provides just enough privacy. Was looking for a quick and easy resolution to a nosey neighbor. This was a perfect solution! We zip tied the bamboo to the existing cyclone fence for a very quick and easy install! And since it is decorative, we didn't need to pull a permit! September 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Bamboo! Excellent product... wish it would go on sale occasionally. October 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Look from a distance Easy to install - Set it up around a deck in the back yard for outdoor shower. Good ventilation. Gives fair privacy from 50 feet away but up close its easy to see thru the spaces - Would like it better if bamboo was pulled tighter together. Neighbors like the way it looks. September 2, 2015
