CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Make Your Own! 25 sets originally purchased, installed, & used daily for about 3-1/2 years on Bali's "Best" 12 mil room darkening roller shades about 34" to 46" wide by 36" to 70" long. Operated daily in the Southwest by adults who grew up with roller shades - ok, 45+ years experience! Brackets cannot handle the weight of these shades. Brackets bend, contort, and fall out of wall, causing shades to drop and malfunction. In addition, the cheap metal scores the shade "pin" on the right, causing it to eventually break off & fail. Aluminum pie pans and postage stamps (special edition) might be a thicker gauge metal! Perhaps a stronger/thicker metal (like the ones made in the 1990s) would serve the shades and the customer better in the long run. Bring back the better brackets! Spent more on gas going back and forth to HD to return shades & buy new brackets (over 18 trips) than to make our own good quality, sturdy, long-lasting brackets. That's in addition to the materials & labor to repair walls and reinstall new brackets after shades have fallen! Next trip: research plumbing brackets that can be drilled, and will be life-lasting! Screws are too brittle, fragile, made of skimpy metal with heads breaking during install; thus, useless. A note to Bali & their manufacturers : increase the metal gauge, or offer a REAL USEFUL inside mount bracket (not a univeral bracket that shrinks the width of the shade) that handles heavier duty shades. Provide screws that will go into a stud (where most shades are installed) without breaking. Quit being so cheap, and provide a product that gives you a profit margin of around 10% instead of taking the money and running from your customer! June 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Simple & Easy There really isn't much to say about these. They worked perfectly for hanging the window shades. The only issue we had was that the screws were not very good quality. Several of them stripped the heads right off during installation, which was very frustrating since these blinds went on rather large windows in an old "turn of the century" house with 13' ceilings. I recommend these brackets, but suggest that you buy your own higher quality screws. December 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Functioned as expected ...enough said. There isn't much to say about shade brackets. These were easy to install and worked well. March 10, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fails to roll adequately. The product should be easy to install. When you are drilling in concrete lt is not that easy to end with a perfectly aligned piece. Not all windows are installed the same. On occasions you need to find the correct bracket, and you can't count with the employees help. Once installed the product is difficult to roll back. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by The shade keeps falling out I installed a pair of these to go with the cheap window shade I bought. Whenever I let the shade roll up, the momentum of the roller spinning would twist the roller's tab out of the bracket and it would drop out and fall into my hands. I tried unrolling the shade to relieve the tension on the spring so it wouldn't retract so forcefully, but it didn't help. It got so there wasn't enough tension on the spring to retract the shade more than half way up, but the shade would still fall out of the bracket. Of course the cheap price of these makes it not worth the bother to wait in line to return it for a refund. August 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install. These are very easy to use and fit the shades they were designed for perfectly. Thank you. February 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what was required Just what is necessary to mount the roller shades. July 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Simple and functional I have installed some 18 or so of these, and find them completely satisfactory. They are unobtrusive and do their job. April 9, 2013
