Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I wanted Easy to install and truly blackout shades. Not like some competitors which let light through, these shades block all light. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly What I Wanted. After spending a lot of money on expensive blinds for a summer place I decided to try this blind out to see how it compared. What a find? So far this is just what I have been looking for, especially since I have over 30 windows to cover. November 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product. This is our fourth shade like this! The product fits our needs exceptionally well. The blackout feature allows our bedrooms to be light-free while providing a professional appearance on the windows. June 3, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very satisfied This is my first experience with a cellular, cordless shade. I've had it about 3-4 weeks and it seems to be working very well so far. It blacks out the light very well, besides the very slight edges. The cut came ever so slightly shorter than requested, but the guy at Home Depot informed me that's how it works. I don't think the shade could be any longer without possibly hindering operation anyway. It's a little difficult to get the shade to lower completely to the window sill since the tabs you install and use to grab on to add a little buffer between the bottom of the shade and the sill. Maybe I'll consider trying it without them soon. The shade does seem to want to raise back up ever so slightly over time, but it's hardly noticeable and easily correctable. It does a good job of blocking window draft because I feel the cold pour in every time I raise the shade. The only minor problem I had was during installation. They tell you to mount a third bracket for long shades (71" in my case) and to center it between the two end brackets. It didn't occur to me that doing this would place that center bracket directly over the middle pulley in the upper mechanism. I realized it was a problem when the shade became very difficult to snap into place. Just make sure if you're ordering a longer shade, and you're using 3 brackets, mount the center one a little off center, so the middle pulley doesn't come in contact with it. All in all, I'm very pleased with the experiment and will most likely end up getting more of them. February 22, 2014
