Thank you for your question and interest in this product. Due to vendor changes on the import program product there may be slight size and shape differences in the brackets. We would recommend changing the brackets to ensure a stable installation.

I am searching for mini blinds 36 x 84. When I put in that size the search acknowledges my search but I get a list of 36 x all sizes. I know most only go to 72" but there are some that go to 84" because I have a pair of them. After 20 years they are wearing out. I will start searching elsewhere but I like shopping Home Depot. canuhelp?

My inside mount is 34 1/2 in. So do I order 34 1/2 width or 35inch width..

Painted the bedroom and realized the old blinds were really cruddy. Replaced with these and am very happy. Surprisingly, a lot of choices out there for blinds. But for a kid's bedroom, these did the job just fine. Relatively simple install & trim (for height). Give yourself about and hour.

I was appalled when I realized I'd bought the SAME blinds my neighbors have. The blinds do not shut completely so, at night, people can see inside your house. I always wondered why my neighbors never closed their blinds at night when I'd walk by their house. I just thought they were being careless. The blinds don't close completely. Horrible.

It is nice that the store will cut them to size. They have metal mounting brackets that go up quickly and can be used over and over for replacement blinds for the subsequent tenants. We skip the enclosed screws and use drywall screws (no drilling needed) This cuts down on the number of steps. When installed the blinds have a nice clean presentation.

I was so worried about the measurements for the new mini blind. The window I'm working with is not straight or even from top to bottom. However, since these blinds hang from the top, it was easy to adjust the space on either side. The only reason these blinds didn't get a 5 star is that the instructions were stuffed in the top of the header piece. Not only were the instructions hard to find, but they didn't come out of the space very well. The paper for the instructions was torn up by the time I got them out of the hole. I patted the paper down and taped all the little pieces back together so I could read the instructions. What a mess! Other than that, I was able to put the blinds up pretty easily. You have to understand that I'm a 70 year old woman and not great with the ladder and screw driver. But I got them up by myself. So I figure anyone should be able to put these mini blinds up. Good luck.
