These blinds are a standby and very easy to replace when needed through Home Depot's on line service.

Measured the internal width of my window, ordered for that width (customized to 1/2" less than my window width), and easy install. Exactly what I wanted and a great price.

After replacing several windows in my home, I decided to go ahead and replace all the mini-blinds as well. I selected these since they fit all my windows without having to be cut. I love that they are vinyl rather than aluminum. They look very nice, and my handyman said they were easy to install. My only issue is that the opening and closing wands are very short. Since I'm short, too, it is a bit of a challenge to reach high enough to comfortably twist the wand. Since the store didn't have every size I needed, I ordered online, and they were delivered to my home. The packaging wasn't as secure as I expected. Each individual blind box should have been taped, and none were. As others have said, items could have gotten lost as a result. Luckily, that didn't happen to me. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

The product does the job of covering a window, but the hanging hardware and the blind adjustment mechanisms are very poorly thought out. From a name brand like Bali, this is very disappointing.
Problem Hardware 1: The metal clips are very fragile and will bend out of whack without a lot of effort. This is not good for a system that depends on snapping in place. I would judge that this kind of system works best for inside mount, but for outside mount...
Problem Hardware 2: If you mount outside on the casing, this kind of system doesn't work well with typical brick mold casing. The clips need to hang straight, but molding causes it to slant downward impacting the ability to clip the blind in. In some cases I had to use shims to get rid of this slant. Which brings me to....
Problem Hardware 3: You can see the hardware peaking over the top of the blind. Not a good look if you don't want curtains. And if you have to shim? Makes an already ugly install even worse.
Light Adjustment mechanism: Note in the pictures it shows the blinds closed and the wand hanging straight down. Unfortunately when you, open the blinds it pushes the wand outward at a rather sharp angle and twists the uppermost slat. This looks silly and wasn't an issue in older blind models and points to some really poor designing on the part of Bali.
Overall, really disappointed in the product.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by RhythmRider Good blinds with poor quality cutting service
These blinds are easy to install. They are easy to operate and the feature that pulls all of the strings together is nice. The quality of the blind is very good for a discount priced mini blind.
Once one has cut the blind length to size there is sometimes insufficient weight in the bottom bar of the blind to allow the blind to smoothly lower without binding. If the bottom bar were heavier or weighted, this would resolve this issue.
The cutting service for these blinds when ordered over the internet is deplorable. The blinds arrived properly cut to the correct size, but the blinds looked like they had been cut by an inexperienced teenage kid on his first job that really could not care about what he was doing.
The same blinds cut in the home depot store (while I was watching the cutter) were very good. I highly recommend getting your blinds cut in the store. The convenience of mail order is not worth the inconvenience of having to return them when done wrong. The cutter in the store actually cut the first blind incorrectly but this was instantly fixed and the quality of the cut was good. I walked away a happy customer.
See pictures of poorly cut mail order blinds.
I will never order these blinds over the internet again but would happily still buy in the store.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NJAngusFarmer Good, inexpensive mini blinds
These blinds are 'cut-to-size'. The end cuts are a bit ragged, but not noticeable once they are hung up (inside mount). The associate recommended vinyl over metal, since they are primarily to help keep a room cool that gets morning sun; appreciated the guidance. I didn't try shortening the blinds, although they provide instructions. The price is good; considerably less than Blinds To Go, for example. The controls interfere a bit with the top one or two slats, but not terribly.

I purchased 4 of these blinds and had them cut to size. All of the blinds sag on right and left side of units. They look like something you would find in a college dorm room - CHEAP. I had bought two sizes of the $4.97 blind but neither fit correctly so I returned them. The quality on the lesser price blind is much better than the cut to size blind. The $4.97 blinds closed tighter and with more uniformity and did not sag on the right or left side of blinds as does the premium vinyl blinds. I purchased the "1" premium vinyl" blind sold at $17.38 which includes custom cutting in the store. I am pleased with the cutting services I received at Home Depot. It is the poor quality of the blinds that I am not at all happy about. I have left all my blinds down in the past, these 4 units are in a raised position during the day as they look so badly hanging in the window that I can't stand to see them there. I don't recommend this premium 1" vinyl Bali blind for reasons stated above.
