CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 466 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great value - minimal room darkening I purchased these after taking down vertical blinds I learned were a custom size. These blinds were very easy to put up and look very nice with the mostly hidden hardware and nicer pull cord than standard mini blinds. They fit perfectly and shipped promptly. However they don't provide much "room darkening", I had to use in conjunction with room darkening curtains to allow good darkening as I sleep into daytime working second shift. I would recommend them to anyone needing custom cut. June 23, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by shoddy I bought these blinds 5 years ago; 4 out of 6 have already broken... At first, I thought it was a glitch, so I replaced several. They've all broken in the same place. (Equally inexpensive ones from another company lasted decades.) At approx. $30. apiece, I'm out around $120. and it's not over... there are a few more shades that I now expect to fail. The company will not replace them. July 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what I wanted. I am very pleased with my purchase. It was exactly what I was looking for and a good price. Don't know why they are called room darkening because they don't eliminate the light from the window. June 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bali Blinds the Bali blinds are nice looking, durable and easy to install and operate and a good value. June 9, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by China Junk China Junk ! Don't buy ! ! Mechanism jams. I pulled the strings to raise the blind and no matter what I did it would not come down. Save yourself the aggravation and money. Buy another Brand. June 5, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by I wanted to like these, but ... Initially, the installation seemed easy enough. However, after getting brackets in place I was only able to "hook" the rail onto one of the brackets. Now, the blind is attached completely on only one side. I tried numerous times, to no avail. Also, the cord is a pain to adjust, and doesn't really make any sense to me. Perhaps someone has a solution to this annoying and frustrating problem? I don't think I'd purchase these again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad brackets... nightmare to install I have installed three different brands of blinds, and the Bali brand is the most difficult, aggravating, and problematic. First, the directions do not provide much detail, and it was hard figuring out which way the brackets should mount to the wall. After I finally figured that out, getting the blind to snap into position was aggravating to say the least. The blind fits into the rear of the bracket but the front wouldn't snap without a lot of hassle. I think the blind bent a little from the twisting and turning that it took to snap it into position. About twenty minutes of sweating, swearing, and wishing you would have bought a different brand, you might finally get them into place, but not before some scrapes of the paint off the wall and possibly some bent blinds. Again, these brackets are horrible. You know what? The best brand I've installed so far were the Walmart Mainstays brand. Second best was the 2" faux wood blinds from Home Depot. And yes, I had the brackets lined up nicely. I've done this before. It's just that these brackets are so poorly designed that I'll bet the Marketing Department was rolling its eyes when the engineers demanded these brackets. I thought Bali blinds would be easy to install because it looked like a good brand. Boy was I wrong. July 2, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The blinds are decent, the mounting brackets are a nightmare! The blinds are okay but the mounting brackets are a nightmare. Horrible, horrible design. I've instructed my wife to NEVER buy these again! I'm not installing another Bali brand blind again. Too much frustration with installation, the snap clips are a pain to mount as well as to snap the blinds in place (especially with the longer blinds.) Removing the blinds from the clips is an equal nightmare. April 30, 2015
