Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Redhead Very modern look!
The finish is more of a stainless steel/pewter color and looks great in my kitchen with all my stainless steel appliances! They give my kitchen a new flare and create a more modern look than the traditional ivory. Just a word of caution though. The slats are thin and feel like they could easily bend/crease so be careful. They are not as heavy as the other older aluminum blinds I have or other more expensive blinds. The mechanism you turn to open/close the blinds feels lightweight and slightly flimsy but hopefully it will be durable over the long haul in daily use. I installed 5 of these blinds about 6 weeks ago and am very pleased so far.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CWinCO Good product, but the color is different than shown.
These are a good value for the money, especially with the free shipping. The instructions aren't great, but the blinds were still easy to install. The quality seems good and was even a little better than I expected.
The color is actually much darker than what's pictured on the website. It's more of a dark pewter with a slight reddish/golden tinge. Nothing at all like the light pink tone depicted. I'm glad they were darker and think it looks much better. These blinds do a very good job at blocking out light when they're shut.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by dlp Defective mounting brackets create struggle and headache
Typical blinds are installed with brackets that all have a basic, similar design. You first mount the bracket. Then the bracket has two features. A hook in the front to initially hang the blind and then a clip to secure. You hang the blind and when it is positioned correctly you rotate the blind main frame into place engaging the clip. With me so far?
The hook portion of the mounting bracket is defective. It is not properly formed and it is IMPOSSIBLE to initially hang the blind. The brackets are hardened steel and will break if you try to bend the hook to it's correct shape. I know. I purchase 5 sets of these blinds and they all had the same defective brackets.
The only way to use these brackets is to install them with the screws loose so you can initially hang the blind and then finish screwing down the screws while the bind is hanging loose and position the blind at the same time without having the whole assembly dropping to the floor and bending the heck out your blinds. I know.
I'm a mechanical engineer and work in the manufacture of metal products. And I restore vintage cars. I'm stating this to assure you that I'm not simply failing to follow instructions. Installing these blinds with the brackets provided may be too difficult for some people. If you work on cars and are use to reaching into blinds areas to do 2-hand tasks using one hand then this may be for you. Otherwise, forget it. Buy brackets that are not defective before you start.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LindaJH Love the color and the look
We installed these in our office windows. They look very professional. I like the fact that I could take them to my local Home Depot and have them trimmed to the correct width for free. All in all, a very affordable solution with a very professional result.

Perfect color for our decor. We have installed 5 of them in our home (so far). High quality product. Easy to install. One of our 5 blinds was hanging out of level and was graciously and quickly replaced. Professional service.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jimmydude These blinds are very difficult to install.
I have installed blinds in a dozen or more homes and many styles and sizes. The installation design on these paricular blinds is horrible. A 2 hour job to install 6 blinds took 4-5 hours. The "clip" that goes on the wall does not easily go onto the blind. I almost destroyed one blind and was very close to returning all of them.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shopper Need more of a black-out blind
Nice blind but not room-darkening enough for our use, neighbors have spotlights on house which permeate blinds. Louvers do not overlap tightly enough, lets light in. Otherwise, look attractive.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dingousa Adds style to the room and functional
Purchased this aluminum blind to hang on a window that sits over a heater- works very well, resists the heaters heat... and adds some style to the kitchen!
The only downside was that the plastic chord adjuster is a little flimsy, but final got it to click and stay in place.
This was a custom sized blind... it was cut correctly, and delivered in the stated time frame.
