Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by KW603 Nice set of mini blinds,
This is a nice set of mini blinds, I've use the "other" brand of mini blinds before and was use to how they were installed. The Instructions for these are a little lacking, ( I even had a friend read the instructions to see if I was not reading something right ) and I ended back up at the store to see how the store display was set up. Once I saw how the brackets were installed at the store, I had 3 pair up in just a few minutes. The Price of a few $$$ over vinyl blinds is well worth the little extra!

These are cheap junk. The bracket design is terrible. The blinds can be very easily damaged while trying to fit them into the brackets which are not consistently formed. I wish I had read these reviews before my wife ordered these blinds. One star is way to high of a rating for this product. Home Depot needs to have their QC people take a look at these.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jimmydude These blinds are very difficult to install.
I have installed blinds in a dozen or more homes and many styles and sizes. The installation design on these paricular blinds is horrible. A 2 hour job to install 6 blinds took 4-5 hours. The "clip" that goes on the wall does not easily go onto the blind. I almost destroyed one blind and was very close to returning all of them.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by quality Cheap bracket, poor instructions
Similar to other reviews, I found the bracket did not accommodate the head rail and the instructions did not offer any clue. This review is for an inside mount. There is insufficient room between the outside bracket and the 'ceiling' to install the outside rail - either first or last. I initially tried to bend the bracket slightly but the small tab immediately broke off. The curl of the top rail had to be flattened in order to slide it into the top front of the bracket - basic design flaw.

Easy to install. I've been very happy with this room darkening blind. It is in a window that faces due west and keeps most of the summer sun out. Retracts and lowers without having to put in "open" position like other blinds. I will continue to by this blind for other windows in my house as I replace older blinds.

Perfect fit . Had to dump the brackets that came with. I needed my shades to go across the window about 3/4 the way up as I have a 6 ft high window in my kitchen that has separate windows that open out on top in my 1920's apartment. I bought a pair of metal brackets used for the higher end shades that lock over and securely holds. The color is very nice, more of a light bronze. These are definitely an upgrade from those horrid plastic numbers. I'm so glad I made this purchase. Instead of spending more money on the expensive shades, I bought these because they are stylish, practical and if I at anytime in the future I have a need to replace these, I will buy another and pop it in those brackets.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MSwan Good Look, Horrible Installation
It must be that the good reviews are for the outside mount option. I have four of these and none will mount with inside installation without some sort of shimming so the blind has enough room to slide over the hook and lock the blind. The first set I nearly ruined and bent the main top piece trying to get it over the not thinking that whoever designed the bracket never actually tried to mount these inside a window frame. They are also crooked. Everyone of them droop on the left side. I understand they are cheap, but a big fail for the engineer!
