Rated 1 out of 5Â by alangski JUNK!
Deserves ZERO rating. I purchased almost 300 dollars worth of these blinds for my new townhome and they are HORRIBLE. The strings fall out that control the up and down movement. The plastic cover on the string falls apart. I am disgusted with them. I spoke to customer service and I was told that I can get a refund for them, even though they were cut to size. That's good because they are JUNK!!!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Blinded Hard to raise and lower
If, like me, you have an old house with odd sized windows, being able to buy fairly inexpensive custom-cut blinds is a treat. However, I've been really disappointed at how difficult it is to raise and lower these particular blinds. When the weather is cool and I can open my windows, I like to raise the blinds to match the opening in the window during the day, and then lower them for privacy at night. These blinds are much too difficult to raise and lower. And it's not just one isolated cranky blind. I have 14 windows with these blinds and during good weather I want to raise and lower the blinds daily. And on at least half of the windows that I open, it's difficult to raise and lower the blinds. I have used blinds for 30 years, but I have never had blinds that were difficult to raise and lower. I don't understand why the makers of these blinds can't address the problem. If I ever find another source for inexpensive cut-to-size blinds, I'll be buying elsewhere.

I use to have to get these cut to size. I'm glad they now have as an off-the-shelf size !!
