The faucet was very good quality, easy to assemble and install. I didn't care for that particular shower riser set-up though, with it's non-standard pipe sizing and a threaded bottom that was supposed to fit into a compression fitting on the top of the faucet. The riser pipe kept pulling loose so I ended up buying threaded adapters for a hand-held shower set I already owned.

One thing that might help users/installers of the faucet is a hardware item called " Bathcock Ell" .It took me a while to discover it's existence. A link to the faucet on your (Home Depot's) part would help, you sell these in selected(?) stores. The Bathcock Ell does two very useful things: 1) Allows supply lines to connect vertically (tucked in close to tub).
2) Allows supply line to be FIP 1/2 inch (female 1/2 inch pipe) such as typical stainless flex supply lines.
The clawfoot tub faucet is 3/4 inch MIP (male pipe, non- tapered thread) for compression style connection. The bathcock ell is designed to connect exactly to this.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by pldworld Good faucet set.
The faucet set for a claw foot tub arrived quickly. It was fairly easy to install. The shower Head did not have a washer set in it and leaked terribly....I used the old shower head instead. The faucet set doesn't sit completely parallel but works fine. No usable instructions were included.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JeanM Fiddley to intall but great in operation!
Need plumber's tape for spigot -- don't stint! We popped the riser rod because we didn't tighten nut enough. So you have to fiddle with it a bit, but it's plumbing and that's what you do. Wall clamp a must (additional $9 part). Water feed attachments were fine -- simply pulled existing and attached to new faucet -- plumber's tape or putty essential there too. All in all a great buy (especially when I checked a few days ago and product is now priced $150 higher!). Shower head in plastic is okay -- you'll probably want to replace it anyway, so cheapie makes sense.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jkfhope Nice faucet, not so nice shower
I love the gooseneck spout and handles on the faucet but the shower portion is subpar. There is no support for the pipe so it jus wiggled back and forth. My husband had to create his own support to attach it to the shower curtain rod so it wouldn't wiggle all around. We also immediately replaced the shower head because the one provided is junk. If you do this you will likely need to add a reducer to the new shower head because the pipe is narrower than standard. For the price it will work, but we will probably need to replace it in 5 years.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by wetandfustrated don' t ever but this product
The riser pipe was male threaded on the bottom but the fixture on the faucet as set up for a compression
nut and seal.
Called the factory and the agent told me that's the way its supposed to be, just try it and it will work.
IT does not work, the riser falls right out of the faucet and of course water leaks everywhere

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Barb Wow, good thing we are pretty handy.
This product came with no instructions. Only a diagram that did not include the shower at all. "All" the joints we loose, so when we turned it on, it spayed everywhere. It took quite a bit of thought to figure out how to install the shower tube. We finally had to use a washer of our own, since we could not get the one provided to work without directions. It is very beautiful.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MoparWoman Nice Faucet, Cheap Showerhead
The faucet is beautiful and the riser is fine too, however the shower head leaked, used plumbers tape still leaked, then in an attempt to tighten it down the shower head cracked(maybe my husband was overzealous), but a new shower head fixed the problem and works great. And there were no written instructions just a picture of a diagram on how to put it together.
