I was able to achieve a good result using this product, but the design of the rod system could be improved. The side legs are longer than needed and the short (diagonal) legs are too short to fit on a standard shower base with a diagonal corner. I used the standard heavy weight rectangular wall brackets that came with the rod to mount it to the wall, but they need to be fastened to the wall with expansion anchors or with good wood screws if there is wood blocking in the wall. The rod is only held to the brackets by a single hex screw which is not enough to keep the rod and a shower curtain from sagging at the diagonal without the accessory support bracket due to the shape of the rod. The accessory support bracket is definitely needed for a good installation. It needs to be securely fastened to the ceiling using expansion anchors or wood screws into blocking. I was able to modify the rod to fit the shower base because the side legs needed to be cut shorter. I used a piece of rod I had cut off of one side to make an extension splice so the rod would fit the base. If this is not done, water will hit the curtain at the diagonal and drip on the floor outside the base. If the accessory support bracket is used two shower curtains are needed or a single curtain will have to be cut into two pieces or a single curtain will need to be swagged to the wall on one side or the other when not in use since the ceiling support bracket prevents the curtain from traveling more than half way around the track. My installation was done to improve handicapped access to a small corner shower.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DroopingDi Needs ceiling support
Seemed very expensive for a shower curtain rod and didn't come with a ceiling support for the middle so that's another expense. Thought it might not require one but after only a few days it is already drooping in the middle.

Nice product but very expensive and the center support was another 30 bucks! Also had to modify because dimensions were not exactly what was posted.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dude not a very stable design
This item arrived without any documentation nor hardware. No installation instructions or even a guide on measuring the rod to cut it to the right size. The rod is a very light tube and the mounting caps are a thin cheap cast. I don't have much confidence that it will last long. I expected better for the price.

This item didn't even come with a downrod support for the middle and if not into a stud, it falls in the middle. Terrible.
