2 out of the 4 connection were pissin. Im so sick of garbage manufacturing. Yes I know its only for a sump, but if you cant glue a proper joint together, then don't make it or sell it. I was so ticked off that I didn't just buy the parts myself and take an extra 2 mins. to make it. I don't like it when I use a product and it makes me look bad. When someone sees that it looks like I don't know how to glue a joint together. The stupid thing was $25 bucks and IT LEAKED ! Manufacturers get with it ! My feeble grandmother could of done better! If I wasn't 35mins away from civilization on the job I was on, I would of went back to HD, got the parts and done it right.
Stop making complete garbage!

This is one of the best little product to come along in a while. It has all of the necessary parts that you would otherwise buy separately then have to put together and install on your sump pump. If you ever have to replace your sump pump, make sure you get one of these too!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shinypenny Sump Pump Quick Connect Pipe
This is a good time saver and money saver for installing sump pumps, everything is assembled up to the takeaway pipe and ready to connect. I upgraded my sump pump to one with a 1 1/2" discharge fitting, and my existing takeaway pipe was 1 1/4". I just screwed the assembly into the sump pump, and then got an adapter collar for 1 1/2 to 1 1/4 and cemented it onto my existing takeaway pipe, and then inserted it into the rubber assembly, and secured it with the metal bands.
The assembly comes complete with a check valve already installed, and a weep hole already drilled into it, and it's already cemented together. It's also easy to disconnect with the metal bands, which I already had to do to troubleshoot my sump pump because I had a rock jammed into the motor. You just unscrew the assembly off the sump pump, and when you're ready, just reinstall the whole piece and tighten up the bands..
I'm so glad I found this, it took away a lot of problems that I wasn't sure how to fix. Luckily, everything was the right length to hook up with my existing system, so I didn't have to add or subtract to the length of the existing pipe when I installed it.
Good value, I saved money and time by not having to make the assembly, by measuring and cutting pipe, buy the check valve, metal collars, and drill the weep hole, so I am more than happy with my purchase. I found it in the aisle with the sump pumps.
Definitely recommend- great product!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JimL Product works but wrong thread size for Basement Watchdog Pump
My Basement Watchdog Pump uses a smaller thread size than what is provided on the threaded end of this Quick Connect Pipe. You can use either 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" PVC pipe with the Basement Watchdog but the thread size on this Quick Connect Pipe is too large so I had to saw off the threaded end that was provided and cement it in place to the male threaded adaptor.
