Applied on the lawn with a broadcast spreader about 10am. The most difficult part was determining exactly how much water to use. Some of the granules didn't appear to have dissolved when I stopped the water but there was some standing water already. About six hours later I noticed a pretty strong smell emanating from the ground, my deduction was that the chemical was activating. The next morning I looked over the lawn and found some dead and some dying grubs. Lifted some loose turf and found more dead and dying grubs. Spot checked here and there and couldn't find one grub that wasn't either dead or dying.
Would have given it five stars instead of four if the granules dissolved a bit more consistently.
Regarding the person who commented that it didn't appear to work on their grubs and even throwing one onto the poison didn't kill it. Can't speak towards whether or not his grubs have some kind of immunity to the particular insecticide but I can say that it doesn't appear that putting a grub on the dry granules is a valid test. Saw a youtube video from Bayer and the spokesman clearly said that water was needed to activate the chemical. Judging from the smell that we noticed six hours after watering, there's some kind of time delay involved before it starts working. Makes sense. This delay allows time for the insecticide to work its way underground with the water down to the roots of the grass where the grubs are.

I have read a lot of the reviews that stated that all of the product did not dissolve after watering. My thoughts on that is that some of the product is slower releasing or dissolving. Used only the hand held watering sprayer set to shower. Only passed over the same area twice then took a step back. Went back a week later to rack and plant new seed. Pulled back an area and saw dead or shriveled up grubs that were almost dead. Could still smell the chemical when I was racking a week later after a couple of rains. Just don't water too much because I think it becomes to diluted and ineffective.

Got Moles? My lawn was looking like a zoo exhibit for the little guys! The only way that the neighbors and me were able to make them move on was to remove the food source. Moles love to eat grubs and other creepy crawlers that live in the soil. Bayer Advanced killed everything under the grass, and forced my enemy to have dinner elsewhere.

I noticed a white patch about 30" in the middle of my lawn. I figured it might be too late to use the typical grubs killers. Then I saw this 24 hours bag. Took my chance and brought it home. Few handful of this stuff right on the patch. Sprinkled on some water. In couple days, grasses in the patch start sprouting green again. In couple weeks, the white patch completely disappeared. Few weeks later, another white patch appeared few yards away, I did same over again and got its green back in couple weeks. The stuff worked great.

Have been using this product to keep Japanese beetles and grubs away from the lawn. It is important to time the appication correctly and make sure you put the right quantity, apply uniformly, and water it in or hope for a steady rain that can drive the chemical into the soil.

We had several brown spots and when I dug one of the spots up I confirmed there were grubs feasting on the roots of my grass. I applied the 24 Hour Grub Killer just prior to a rain shower. The next day, I found many many dead grubs that had come to the surface. Of course, the grass was dead in those spots so I will be reseeding. I did not purchase enough for the entire yard, so I will be finishing the project this week.
A wonderful product.

We applied this product 2 weeks ago. About 1 week ago we became INFESTED with June beetles. Our yard was the only yard that had any of the beetles. I called Bayer Company. They said this product only lasts for a very short period of time, at the most 5 days. If you get the beetles after that it is just bad timing. I invested 17.97 each for 4 bags to do my yard. They said I could buy a product called Season Lawn Grub Control which lasts for 90 days. So be aware of which product you use.

Applied product around 4:00 pm, the next morning around 6:45 went to check the yard and notice grubs where dead, and others dying. Some granules were still not dissolved, but with another application of more water it should do the trick. Depending on how the grass respond will determine if this will be a future purchase. All in all it's does the trick killing the grubs, and others.
