I sprayed this in the fall, now it is spring. Should I reapply this in the spring and water it in?

Asked by: Cdavjs
Apply this whenever the weeds are in an active growth cycle. And for God's sake, don't water it in. All you're doing is wash it off.

that won't kill what existing grss there is and won't harm my 3 dogs and 1 cat because they like to eat it. Thank you in advance.
Asked by: MamaRoseLoves2Bake
No. Not safe. Please decide whether you want to kill weeds or grow dog food. There's nothing in between.

This is my go to spray product for weeds located in my lawn because it just works for me and/or the weeds located in the Phoenix area. I have been told by store associate that when mixing follow the directions to a "T" and it'll work. Do not over mix otherwise it won't have the same effect. I follow the directions for mixing content and it kills the existing weeds. Not sure about the 6 month prevention guarantee. I don't think any spray will prevent unless you completely saturate the ground beneath your grass.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wow Paid almost 3x as much for the Bayer season long product and didn't even get a dandelion to wither up. Didn't do a thing to clover either. Waited 2 weeks and still nothing. Guess I'll be purchasing another product. Very disappointing to say the least.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Caused hundreds of dollars of damage Followed the directions exactly and this product killed all my Cala lilies that I had been cultivating for years. Paid $8 to wreck my yard and kill my plants . I'll never buy this again.

I live in South Florida where my lawn is green and lush all year for the most part. Over the years I have had to fill in some areas with sod from local landscaping companies so I am not 100% sure of the type of grass I have but it all looks the same to me. However, I bought this product as it was recommended by my landscape company. I tested on a patch of weeds 1 month before and it seemed to work. Proceeded to spray the areas on my lawn that had a few varieties of some stubborn weeds that did not responded well to Scotts Bonus S. I used a 2 1/2 gallon pump sprayer to which I added 2.5 oz of the concentrate (1 oz. per gal). Sprayed the lawn and now I have a nice patchwork of brown dead grass all over my lawn, mixed in with areas of green where I did not spray. I am really disappointed in this product as I thought for sure based on the TV ads and the recommendation, that it would have worked. I could have gotten the same result had I used a general purpose weed killer such as Roundup. I most definitely will not use again nor do I recommend it unless you are 100% sure of the type of grass that you have and is willing to take the risk.

This product is perhaps the best product I've found in more than ten years. Following an October 2015 aeration (double) and seeding, I found myself with a weed bloom covering 90% of my entire front yard; it was a massive bloom. The weather was an unusually warm mid January (South Carolina) with high 70's, low 80's and the weeds just exploded. I bought this product and applied it in a very thorough fashion using a spreader sticker to ensure proper coverage. Using a two-gallon pump sprayer, I adopted an application procedure that marked a swath three feet wide from house to street (column). I sprayed the yard throughout the column to the street and then turned 45 degrees spraying rows (within the column) three feet wide, from the street back to the house. This was to ensure proper coverage. Spraying a 2400 sq. ft. lawn took 5.5 hours; it was real work. The weed bloom took three to four weeks to die. The end result was a 99% kill. Bonus factor: Wild onions in your yard? It took six to seven weeks, but the Bayer killed that also. There is another type of infestation similar to lirope that grows with a spreading habit (not mounding). In mid summer, it sends up purple fruiting stalks that yield purple berries after pollination. I've found nothing short of brush killer to control this stuff. Guess what? Two applications, five weeks apart and I've got dead stuff everywhere. No dead grass, just two varieties of weeds I've never previously been able to control ... and now I can. There are some folks out there that complain about the efficacy of this product. All I can say is mix EXACTLY according to instructions with perhaps a little spreader-sticker. Be thorough with your application at least twenty-four hours before rain. You'll be good to go. ***Note*** If the weed is not in a growth cycle, no weed killer will be effective. Certain hormones exist that the weed killers use to trigger a kill cycle. These hormones don't exist when the weed is not in an active growth cycle. Overall, an excellent product that comes in at an affordable price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I tried a few other broadleaf weed killers before this one. They all either didn't work at all, or left a couple weeds like crabgrass or clover. Then I tried this on my emerged weeds and it worked great. It's killed every single weed I have had. It's also worked well as a pre-emergent. Note: it takes a long time to work. Like no yellowing for a couple of weeks and final kill within 6-8 weeks. It feels like forever. But the results in the end are worth it and the pre-emergent makes it so you don't have to do another treatment for a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product, ran short The weeds have really been knocked down in the yard and have stayed under control. I wish the coverage was better, and perhaps I over-applied in an effort to kill everything!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Update as we are part way through the season I have a review when I first got this product, but could not seem to find (or remember) how to update my other review. I stated I used this "regular" weed control product, and it's spot control, but not this "Season Long" version. Now that we are near the end of the season, I must say I am disappointed. We are three quarters of the way through the season and the weeds are coming back. I have applied it TWICE several months ago. To be quite honest, I see very little difference in the weeds except two types (which seemed to have come back as well). While I did see a difference with the regular and spot, this version is disappointing. I SEE the price has dropped. That is good and it is not even worth this amount
