This does kill broadleaf weeds. I would say wait for hot dry day (due to the waxy coating issue mentioned above) and the spray the area a bit longer than you would normally spray it . My experience with this "stuff" is that it visibly "knocks the grass down" for a day or so after, but it springs back and you can see it has "hurt the weeds". Read Less

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product, ran short The weeds have really been knocked down in the yard and have stayed under control. I wish the coverage was better, and perhaps I over-applied in an effort to kill everything! August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by worked for me Worked on clover ver well. Within few days of application i got the curly leaves on clovers and with in 4 weeks its almost gone. Will recommend. July 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it I tried a few other broadleaf weed killers before this one. They all either didn't work at all, or left a couple weeds like crabgrass or clover. Then I tried this on my emerged weeds and it worked great. It's killed every single weed I have had. It's also worked well as a pre-emergent. Note: it takes a long time to work. Like no yellowing for a couple of weeks and final kill within 6-8 weeks. It feels like forever. But the results in the end are worth it and the pre-emergent makes it so you don't have to do another treatment for a while. April 3, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by wees definitely gone - but it kills literally everything The weed concentrate did a great job killing all of the weeds - but it also killed literally everything else too September 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DID NOT WORK VERY WELL Followed application instructions 100% as printed on bottle. I have a small lawn care business and thought this product was a good fit for 3 of my clients. Other weed treatments on the market not only kill the weeds but also grass and leaves of any ornamental shrubs it came in contact with. So this was the choice for my next applications. It has been over 2 weeks since my application of Bayer season long weed control. Only one out of three lawns did it kill weeds, and at that was partial killing of Carpetweed- (Grows right down on the ground with small, shinny foliage) I would not use again. August 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lawn weeds We have been using this product for several years now and have no problems with weeds. We generally apply 2 times per year or more if we see them pop up. Great product and we keep it on hand year round. Thanks Bayer, great product!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] August 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good producr Good product. I recommend setting aside a dedicated garden sprayer. Use according to directions but only use the product as a spot killer/control chemical. A little chemical goes a long way. Repeat as necessary when new weeds present themselves. Don't rinse and clean the dedicated garden sprayer since this the only product used with this sprayer. Dedicating a sprayer saves a lot of work and time in the long run. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] August 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great This truly keeps the weeds away and kills the ones that are already in place. I wasn't sure how well it would work. I picked it up on a whim and was so happy to see that it lives up to the promises! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] July 25, 2015
