Rated 5 out of 5 by from wrong reviews people are reviewing the hose end the attachement. the concentrate mixed in a sprayer works wonders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Only Way to Kill Mature Crabgrass (August 2012): Here in Massachusetts, crabgrass tillers into more than one leaf around the end of June. After that happens, the only way to kill it is to use quinclorac. A couple years ago quinclorac went generic and Bayer now combines it with dicamba and 2,4-D, which has been effective against broadleaf weeds for at least 60 years. The result is this product, which will kill all kinds of lawn weeds, including crabgrass, in less than two weeks. It turned my crabgrass brown in 11 days. And because quinclorac is now generic, the price is a bargain.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bayer Advanced Lawn Weed & Crabgrasss Killer 40 oz concentrate Purchased the 40 oz bonus size and applied to my 2 acre lawn here in Wisconsin. My lawn is a midwest blend comprised of 70% KB and Fescue. Bayer website advises to apply @ 2 1/2 oz of chemical per gallon of water for KB lawns. This mixture ratio conflicts with the product label which advises a mixture ratio of 3.2 ounces per gallon of water. I elected to use @ 2 1/2 ounces per gallon of water. Applied late morning with temps at 65 F. to actively growing weeds. 24 hours later and it appears the application had no effect on the weeds in my lawn. Will try a stronger 4 ounce to 1 gallon of water ratio and report back in 2 weeks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't Touch This Stuff Ever Again I purchased Bayer All-In-One Lawn Weed and Crabgrass Killer. I know it says to use correctly. I measured using the provided cap measuring cup and my typical sprayer with 1-gallon measuring line. All I can say is my crab grass is still growing, but the grass around it is dead. I had a solid lawn - 4th year after planting. Now I have more than a dozen DEAD spots all over my lawn - which I am now forced to clear and reseed. For the past three summers I used the Ortho product - same measuring process, same sprayer, etc. and didn't had any issues. I only tried this because they didn't have Ortho the day i went and the clerk said it was supposedly a good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Weed Killer for Fescue Lawns; Kills Nutsedge I am quite surprised by the many negative reviews. This product stands out as one of the best lawn and garden products of the past 20 years. Why? It kills nut-sedge. Over the past 20 years, I have tried every product purported to kill nut-sedge in a fescue lawn. None did the job well nor warranted subsequent purchase. This product beats them all hands down. The product also kills crabgrass. And it kills most broad-leaf weeds. The "All-in-one" is a great name. Instead of needing multiple products as in the past, now I need only one. The product is also a great price for what it can do. I follow the directions carefully, use a hand-held sprayer, mix a new batch for each application, and shake well (the product).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from product does not work for clover or crab grass. I bought this product mainly for clover, but everything else it stated was a bonus, for under 10 dollars i thought i couldn't go wrong i followed the directions perfectly, but it did not work, the clover in my lawn is still alive and better then ever, however it did kill the only dandelion i had in my lawn. so if your looking for something for dandelions this product will work, anything else id look for something with a higher concentration of 2-4d amine, which i should of did from the start but i guess you live and you learn.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Waste Your Money I've used Bayer products before with success and so I thought I'd give their Lawn Weed and Crabgrass Killer a try in my yard, along the roadside and spot weed killing in our field, mainly targeting broad leaf but with the occasional crab grass in my yard. I went through two 4 gal. pack pack sprayers of the stuff and actually used a slightly stronger dose of it along the roadside and in the field. It's been over two weeks now and nothing. Like another reviewer noted, I did see some dead dandelions, but aside from that I think I actually might have watered everything else. I've used Weed-B-Gon before for the same application and it worked fine so I don't think it's an "operator error" issue. I think this stuff just doesn't work. Lesson learned. Now what to do with what's left in the bottle?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Killed my lawn while crabgrass and weeds thrive. I used Bayer ready to spray Weed and Crabgrass Killer on my front yard. The same day, I sprayed my back yard with Spectricide Weed and Crabgrass Killer. The weeds and crabgrass in the front yard seems to like the Bayer, as they have multiplied in the 3 weeks since I sprayed. I have to hand pull. Unfortunately, my lawn is all dying. I will have to find a way to get this mess cleared and reseed. My back yard is looking great. Will never use Bayer again and say use at your own risk.
