This is a "SYSTEMIC" disease control product which means it is absorbed by the root system.
Pests on the outside or surface of the tree will need to eliminated with a pesticide. Hope this helps.

Answer:
This product is completely safe for use on weeping willow trees. One thing to keep in mind, it can take some time for the product to be completely absorbed through the tree. We recommend spraying the tree with a topical spray, such as Bayer Advanced 3 in 1 Insect, Disease, and Mite Control, to aid in the control of the caterpillars.

Answer:
Yes. It not only kills Emerald Ash Borers, it restores dead areas of the tree. We saved our 40 year old ash tree with this product. Our city has an infestation problem and is removing ash trees all over the city. I wish they would have invested in this product instead. It works wonders.

Answer:
I believe that since it goes in the ground where your roots are( dont let it puddle)it should be safe with pets.Note: i usually take a screwdriver and carefully poke the ground around the plant being careful not to damage roots so the solution goes in the ground easily and dont puddle.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 32 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product and quick results Well, I had an oak tree that was very yellow while everything else is green, I was advised that this tree won't survive so I thought to try some feed and give it a chance. I bought this product and used it as instructed and within 2 weeks I had great improvement. I have also re-mulched my tree and sprayed some fungus medications so not exactly sure what happened but my tree is all green and looks healthy in 2 weeks. I would recommend this product and I will use it again on my shrubs soon April 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as advertised This product works well. In my case, a young dynamic crape myrtle ( which is a flowering tree that draws japanese beetles). The first time I planted the young tree, the beetles ate it to the bone, I was able to save the tree by transplanting it back into a pot. After it recovered, I added Bayer Tree and Shrub Protector to the soil when I transplanted it back to its original home. The japanese beetles attacked it once again but this time the tree was poisonous to them - killing them in groups. The key with this product is to give it time to absorb all the way to its leaves. Leaves have some slight holes from the beetles but they have to eat them to die. Nothing like last year, where nothing was left on the tree but sticks. July 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well, easy to use Good results with trees if you follow directions. Trees that were suffering perked up and look good. Also, little to no leaf damage from insects. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good to use makes my plants and trees look good and healthy. I am really happy with using the "32 oz. concentrate tree and shrub protect with feed" on all my plants and trees in my yard. July 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Helping Diseased Trees I was searching for help with two diseased trees. The Home Depot Garden Shop rep suggested I try this product. In the past I had tried a product with this Brand---I was not happy with the results.(Can't recall what it was). This however, seems to be helping my trees and it has only been a month. Leaves are beginning to come back. I appreciate the help from Home Depot. June 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This one works Had wooly aphids on a black alder in our backyard. I applied this last week and the insects have reduced significantly. July 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Too early to tell if this product will help badly damaged trees. The product is easy to use and I will wait to see if the treatment helps two trees survive. July 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Save my tree Easy to use and seems to do the job of keeping beetles away from my tree June 30, 2016
