Customer Reviews

1200 GPH Submersible Waterfall Pump is rated 1.6 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality Same as every other review on here. Had my pump one season and plugged it in this year to find the impeller shaft broken!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shaft broken after 5 months Have had the pump for about 5 months and the pump quit working today....When I took it apart I found the main shaft broken and the impeller drive broken as well...I hope this is just a fluke and have yet to see what can be done since it has a 2 year warranty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke! I purchased this pump 2 weeks ago and today...the main shaft broke! $109 down the toilet!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken after 3 months Same thing happened as other reviewer. Broken shaft:(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted less than a month Bought this product which worked perfectly...for three weeks. The impeller shaft didn't break (as noted in other reviews), but something definitely wrong with the impeller motor/action. No blockage, clean pond...just won't pump water any more. I appreciate the nice review of the company, but need a replacement NOW. Who has time to mess with getting parts and, as it turned out from the review, finally getting a replacement? Third pump from this maker. Will never buy this brand again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money. Lasted 6 days. I had one of these last nine months and then the drive shaft broke. It has a two year warranty so it got replaced. The second or new pump is dead after only 6 days. I would avoid the entire Beckett company line of pump products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Bought this pump last summer. Is already broken. My 3rd Beckett pump that has broke for no reason. I am done with this company.
Date published: 2013-04-18
Rated 1 out of 5 by from two time loser I purchased one in the spring (April) and it lasted until June. I replaced it with the same at home depot and it lasted until July. Both times the impeller (propeller blade) broke. Very cheaply built. I will do more research and buy online. I believe the one I had for 3 years I bought at Home Depot as well, but it was a Tetra. Eventually impeller went bad on it but different scenario and it lasted 3 years. My pond is about 700 gallons and I have always used a 1200 gph. I may try changing from sponge type filter to slotted intake that will allow more debris to pass through. Clogging of filter may be putting to much stress on impeller.
