Customer Reviews

Biological Pond Filter is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs to be built stronger Works as intended, however the sidewalls of the case and the screen top are not built as strong as they should be. Once the filter pads become dirty enough to not allow enough water through to meet the demand of the pump, the sides and top begin to buckle under suction. The case will bend and the top will be nearly impossible to get off without some kind of breakage. My top is now held on with wire ties and not the plastic tabs. I advise the filter pads be cleaned at least weekly so you don't have this problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This filter is meant for beginners. If your looking for something cheap and have a pond under 400 gallons...its a good way to go if you don't mind a weekly clean. Be warn, you wil need to replace the filter pads every 2 months depending on your fish load. Eventually with a bigger budget, external filter are the only way to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PF357 Biological Pond filter The water in my 200 gallon fish pond was slightly cloudy, I installed the filter late one evening and the next morning the water was clear. I give this product the highest rating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok but not great This filter is a huge hassle to clean. It offers ok filtration but the inconvenience of digging it out of the pond so often to clean it is simply not worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible They get debris clogging the intake which simply is the screen. Shortly they will suck in to a point they whole thing gets deformed. I had 3 of these replaced and finally gave up. Use the PowerFlo Max filter instead, way better!
