The water fall kit also acts as a filter. It comes with one filter that can be cleaned and re-used. The only suggestion would be to make sure the length and width of the water fall itself can accomodate the one that comes with the kit or else you will need to purchase a seperate liner to attach to this kit. Great value and it was easy to install. The pump is very powerful for its size too.

What I like most about this kit is that the pump, tubing and waterfall basin can accommodate a much larger pond . If you intend to put some koi in your pond, get yourself a larger liner and make sure you make it at least 3 feet deep. You will also want to get a better filter material. The one that comes with it is pretty flimsy and won't last. I got some good filter material on Ebay and used a razor blade to cut it into the right shape. The net bag for the lava rocks is too small and will not last. I built a cage out of 1/4" chicken wire which I put my lava rock intro.

Rated 5 out of 5 Toro's Waterfall Project
I was very satisfied with the waterfall kit I got from Home Depot. It had everything I needed to built a waterfall (pond) except for the labor (but that was my favorite part). The kit comes with everything you need for the waterfall, you just have to get the tools, the time and put the effort to complete the project. The Liner is for a small pond, about 350 gallons, if you want to make it a little bigger or if you would like to change the shape of the pond, then you can simply buy extra liner from Home Depot and play around with it to satisfy your taste.
