I was looking for a complete oil-rubbed bronze kit because I have a sink that is open to view at the drain. At first, I was excited because it was the most complete set I could find. The P-trap can be found easily but the difficult thing (surprisingly) were the trim pieces. also this was the only oil-rubbed angle stop I could find. So far, so good. But when I went to assemble, I could not get the compression end of the angle stop not to leak. I also found that the p-trap is sized at 1.5 inches and the majority of wall openings seem to be sized at 1.25 inches. Bad for a retrofit. Last, the angle stops had one end of the oil-rubbed tube connection, but the kit did not have the other end, that connects with the inlet tubes for the fawcet. At that point, I gave up. Nice try and does have the right finish, but too hard to install and too many Do It Yourself trips back to Home Depot to try and make it work.

This pedestal lavatory supply kit was an answer to my problems. I was having some remodeling done at my house and one of the projects was removing a vanity in the powder room and replacing it with a pedestal sink. I had chosen a oil rubbed bronze faucet and was told by my plumber that to purchase oiled rubbed bronze parts that show with a pedestal sink would cost a fortune. I was so disappointed until I found this kit at Home Depot. My plumber was so surprised that I found the kit and especially surprised at the price. My pedestal sink looks great with the oil rubbed bonze supply kit.

The product says its for a bath install however the pipe is 1 1/2" which is for a kitchen fitting. It needs to be 1 1/4". There fore I could not use it.

The handles and plates of this kit were fine. When it came time for the plumber to connect the water lines, the straight tubing that came with the kit, had to be shaped in a curve to allow connection to the wall water lines.
All water connections require this shaping.
The finish on the tubing flaked off in big chunks, exposing copper tubing.
They could not be used.
My plumber ended up using the flexible metal hoses, that should be used for plumbing installs.
I will paint the hoses to match.
This kit should be updated with those flexible hoses instead of the straight painted copper tubing.
If you can purchase the handles and plates in this finish seperately, you will be better off.
I would not purchase this kit again.
I would buy the parts and paint them a black/brown color and would have the same product for half the cost and frustration.
