Pros: It's easy to attach and detach, easy to light, and small/lightweight. No leaks as of yet.
Cons: The length of the flame seems to have only one setting that's easy to hit - either it's on full blast with a lengthy flame, or it's entirely off. It's extremely difficult to turn the dial to a setting that allows a small flame without going out.
Overall: Good buy as long as you're okay with it being on full blast all the time. Find something else if you need an adjustable flame.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by torchchef777 works well, except
installs and functions well; however, the nozzle needs a greater angle to work on horizontal surfaces, when the bottle is full it must be held upright to prevent the liquid propane from entering the nozzle, which does not burn. flame gets extinguished, venting gas into the air. (i use it for cooking) otherwise works well when kept upright, or bottle is less full. good value.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TKhomeowner works great
Being an average homeowner this torch works great for the jobs that i have used it for. It is east to light, i also purched the 4' hose to make it easier to fit into tight spaces. I highly recomend.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rodster Good for light work
Wanted a cheap torch head for some light work and this meets the needs. I wouldn't recommend it for plumbing work unless it's just one joint.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ih8rt7 Entry level torch for the DIYer. No frills.
As the name implies, this torch head is, basic. VERY basic. It started on the first click each time I used it. It delivers a consistent flame, but not the finely defined flame tip that I am used to with the brass heads.
If you only need to sweat a couple connections every now and then, it will do the job. If you have a lot of joints to sweat, invest in a high-end head.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Erick You get what you Pay for
This is (as stated by manufacturer) a basic torch head that has the bonus of Self Ignition. Many other posts enfaces on the torch going out when gas tank was tilted or set to an angle. I found the solution by combining this troch head with an extension hose. No flame going out, no fire still burning after regulator is turned off and it is easier to maneuver just the head than using the entire body of propane tank. Safe yourself the frustration and buy the extension hose along with this torch head.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Benm this was not a suitable tool for the industrial application we intended to use it upon.
this unit was too difficult to adjust for our application. as it turned out the upgrade model of this torch head worked much better. this is acceptable for occasional use, not for a 10 hour shift in an industrial setting
