I know the Coleman cylinder was probably made for camp equip, not specifically for torching. The description says that it was made for most canisters.

The head 'should' fit. The cylinder heads (threads) if I remember correctly should be universal. Good way to use up that 1lb cylinder sitting around unused.

Yes.... but read my post, it doesn't work horizontally. Spend more money and buy a better torch head.

Answer:
No, this is not made for MAPP. MAPP is discontinued in 2008, where did you get MAPP? I use Bernzomatic TS4000 and TS8000 with MAPP. If you meant MAP-Pro, this head is still wrong head for it. MAP-Pro burns much hotter than propane as in BTU but not so much in temperature. MAPP burns around 2000*F hotter than propane and much higher BTU too.

No, this torch can only be used with Propane. Using a hotter fuel will permanently damage your torch.

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you are correct. Thank you for thoroughly reading that WT2301 is a propane only torch. I believe this was included in the search results due to the torch being an LPG product. I will inform and work with the Home Depot team to see if this can be removed from the results. Should you have any questions about a Bernzomatic or Worthington product, please call 1-800-359-9678 Read More

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor performance Like others, igniter stopped working withing a day, also kept flaming out when manually lit. August 30, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product....did what i needed This product worked well and did exactly what i needed it to do. This tool is very handy for many projects, even lighting a simple camp fire. August 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by much better than the ol' striker hated fussing w/ the old striker, but could never get myself to pay $35 for the other automatic torch head; switched to using a lighter a while back, but that's still a bother. i happened to be passing by the torch aisle and noticed this torch head (maybe my local hd wasn't carrying it before) and grabbed it. soooooo much easier than using a striker, or even a lighter. the flame is wider & probably burns a lot more fuel than the plain head i was using before, but this is still worth it for the ease. tho, you can dial down the flame to a pretty low level, so that'll help w/ fuel use. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 2 have failed Both failed within 4 or 5 uses. Will not ignite and will not even burn using a striker or lighter. Like other users have reported, they get clogged or something. The gas sometimes varies up and down. August 7, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk 2 out of 2 failed within ten minutes. I purchased one to do a quick sweat soldering job on 1/2" copper pipe. It worked for 5-10 minutes then the flame wet out and it refused to light again even using a lighter instead on the igniter button. It acted like it was clogged. No gas was getting through, and this was with a fresh bottle of propane. I've been sweat soldering pipe since the 70's. Even when it was working the shape and quality of the flame was not proper for sweating copper pipe. The blue part of the flame was 5-6 inches long and very thin needle-pencil point shape and no amount of adjustment would correct it. - So figuring it was a one-off dud, the following day I exchanged it for another. - Exact same thing happened. Improper flame and it quit working in under 10 minutes. Two bad in a row is a defective product. Bernzomatic , who USED to make good products, should be ashamed to be selling this junk. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great item! This worked great! Very pleased with it. I love the auto igniter! July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value, great product Great value! Did just what I wanted, to push a button and have the torch light. Didn't need no fancy or expensive torch to do that. I'll not be using it several times a day so there may lye the difference, but what I want it for which is to assist in starting fires for BBQ. It is just perfect for that. June 8, 2016
