Questions about placing the shed on a concreted slab

This question is from Belmont 12 ft. x 16 ft. Wood Storage Shed Kit

Can't find it in the instructions.

What size should the slab be, is it 15'9" x 12' for the 12 x 16 building?

How thick should the slab be, is 4" sufficient and are there any special instructions in pouring the slab, e.g. Thicker at the edges, etc.

Should the shed be anchored to the slab or does it just sit on the slab with no fasteners?

Thank you!

The type of pour you need may vary depending on the property and area you live in. Fasteners are a good idea and you can either use J-bolts or Read More

Answer:
Construction is 2x4s 24" o.c. so you may certainly wire the shed. However, check with your local permit office to be sure you can obtain a permit for the use you intend.
Another note, if you intend to insulate the pocket doors aren't appropriate for this purpose. You can order the Belmont without pocket doors and instead install patio doors purchased from Home Depot. See the Pro Desk at your local Home Read More
