How many amps dose the unit pull?

How many amps dose the unit pull?
Asked by: todot
Not sure about the amps but the manual calls for a dedicated 15 amp outlet wall plug. Mine is plugged into a standard plug - no issues. If you get a 3 person or higher you will need a 20 amp plug.

Is it required to have a space between the unit and the wall? I live in a cement house in Mexico so there is no risk of damage to the walls, what about the unit? The space I have will be snug at best, maybe one inch on one side..is that going to be OK?
Asked by: DH
I did not see any space requirement. Placed mine in the corner with no issues. 50" x 43" (rounded up) is the measurement of the wood base on mine. The top panel sticks out a couple of inches farther on the front (door side).

How wide is the panel on either side of the door, and how wide is the door? Can the door swing open to the left or right or only in one Direction.
Asked by: DH
The door is approx 22" wide with about 12 1/2 " on either side. Door swings open to the right only. Someone who is good with wood could possibly reposition the door brackets to the left side but would need to cut out since the mounting brackets are recessed (likely would void your warranty though).

Is there an ionizer?

Asked by: pearl
No ionizer is included. Not a huge noticeable difference from user reports that I've read on the internet. Also see that there are aftermarket ones available $50-100. This does include a nice Chromotherapy light and stereo. One big plus for me was the spacing of the wood slats on the heaters; no need for an added back support as with others that typically have the widely spaced horizontal wooden slats on the sides.

Pros: Packaging and shipment - well packaged in 2 boxes Assembly relatively straight forward - Latching of main panels simple Build quality and design is good - closely spaced slats eliminate the need for a backrest as with some saunas Chromotherapy light and stereo Value Cons: A Few areas where the instructions could be better. Screwing in bench and floor panel - Stereo has a remote receiver wire that works better if you pass it through between the side of the radio face and the wood assembly so the rcvr lens is inside the sauna Parts: Was missing 3 of the 4 screws to attached the top panel Defect: One of the top panel attachment holes in the side panel was drilled next to a cable opening in the panel resulting in no wood for the screw to attach to. Cannot see it, so appearance is unaffected but one corner of the top panel is not secure. I don't know that this is a huge issue since the top panel rests on top of the side panels and there is no way that you could lift the unit using the top panel. I still have to get in touch with the company to see what solution they have to correct.
