CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid, stable, well built jack This jack handled the heavy transmission and transfer case assembly from my 1979 Ford 1-ton 4X4 with ease! I was even able to bolt the assembly directly to the jack, making it very easy to handle and eliminating any chance of it falling. I've removed and installed a lot of transmissions over the years using just a floor jack, and this made the job SO much easier, and more importantly, much safer. There was no chance I was going to accidentally drop this 500 or so pound assembly onto myself. Being able to adjust the tilt both left to right and front to rear made re-installing the whole assembly a breeze. My only mistake was not getting one of these a long time ago. If you're concerned about this jack not handling your transmission, don't be. It's very stable, all steel, (including the wheels), and is very well built, comparable to jacks costing hundreds more. I'd recommend this jack to anyone, including professionals, which I used to be. August 1, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by very disappointed box came in severely damaged, Jack leaked horribly. Would not hold pressure. Would not recommend this January 13, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Play in cradle makes it hard to use. The cradle has a lot of play in it because the manufactering tolerances were very loose. Some parts like the bearings on the cradle adjustment and the pump handle attachement are cheaply made. The cradle play allowed the transmission to tilt the cradle making it hard to use. I would have rather ordered the "Cheap Tool Store" jack and saved myself some money because I suspect the quality in both are equal. I'm going to spend some time rebuilding it trying to tighten it up. March 20, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DOA Showed up at my door in a VERY reasonable time frame. But that's where the good ends. The box was extremely beat up and inside I found the casters were bent from this abuse so it did not roll or turn smoothly. During use the Nut that holds the angle adjustment in position fell off and the whole transmission tipped sideways onto my hand. Luckily No serious injury but wow that really sucks. It should have been made with a castle nut and a cotter pin to prevent this. VERY Frustrating! June 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy Jack. Loses air over time The jack is heavy and sturdy and very adjustable. The bad thing about the jack is that it loses air over time which causes the jack to lower. If you need to hold something overnight, I would not recommend using this jack. June 19, 2012
