1.5-Ton Hydraulic Scissor Jack is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from design flawed Arms are too loose. They get snagged on a rivethead when lowering, not safe in my opinion. If arms lifted and lowered perfectly vertically, there would be no problem. Arms slide just offcenter by a few millimeters, enough to not fully lower the jack since it snags on the rivet. I only had another halfinch of suspension travel to lower my car so it was safe enough to knock out the jack with a rubber mallet. In the pic above you can see the rivethead just below the lifting saddle. I repeated the problem with just pushing down on the saddle with my hands. My stock car scissorjack does not have this looseness, much tighter tolerances. Side note: the lift saddle does not look like the pic. The jack must have be revised. It had no slot but more of a flat recess.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Home Depot's product picture is inaccurate I ordered this jack to use on a car with a unibody design so as not to collapse the pinch welds. Unfortunately, the manufacturer either changed the design or the picture is of the wrong product - because when I received the jack it did not have a slotted saddle, but a slightly depressed area instead. Would not work on the pinch weld without damaging it. I ended up returning it to my local store. Home Depot should fix the image because I'm betting others have had the same problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient to use compared to a manual scissor jack that came with my van. Lifted my Sienna very easy and the newer design without a slot cut was very disappointing but the lip on my Sienna where you attach the jack was strong enough not to I guess its not a big deal. Would buy another set for my birthday and hopefully that they do not discontinue this product any soon. I only put 4 stars for the quality since 2 of the "C" clip that retains the pivot pins are off when I opened the case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meets my expectations. This jack was purchased to replace the OEM scissors jack that came with the vehicle, an import sedan. Supplied jack was very difficult for some people of slight stature or elderly persons to operate. It is much easier to lift the vehicle using the hydraulic jack. While it is heavier than the OEM jack it is a good tradeoff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Completely satisfied For some reason scissor hydraulic jacks are hard to come by any more. I'm glad the Home Depot still offers one. The picture accurately and completely describes the product. It does have a slot on top, which was the sole reason I needed it for my car.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works like a champ! Worked well raising my Sienna on one side and I did not have a hard time pumping it. Really happy with the purchased and may ask my wife to give me 2 more for my B-day. Just hope that they do not discontinue this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Carry case received smashed Shipping box was not damaged so case must have been dropped from a height before packing for shipment. Haven't had a chance to use jack itself but it appears OK.
