I wanted a heavier duty floor jack that could lift my higher vehicles past the point to where the tire just raises off the floor. Most smaller jacks go to 14 inches. That would not do. This one raises all my vehicles quickly and to any height I need up to 20 inches and allows me to crawl under with a creeper. It has a handle that comes apart and rolls easily. The other reviewers complained that it was hard to break the lift slowly but I had no trouble bringing down the cars at whatever rate I needed. It held up my 57 Chevy for more than 48 hours upon testing. This is a jack for years to come. I can live with the made in Canada too. At least its not from China.

It is a good jack for suv. I have a ridgeline and a pilot. It lifted both without a problems. Also high enough.
The only thing that needs to be addressed by torin (the manufacturer) is that it lowers down too fast. I have tried to use two hands and to realy watch when I lower the suvs. It always comes down too fast. The is the only problem I have.

I bought this jack for my son who is a mechanic. He loves this product and the quality. He considers it a safe and reliable jack. I looked at many jacks and compared prices and product construction before choosing. Thanks for having what I needed.

Overall good floor jack and performs as advertised. My only con for this jack is the stroke length of the handle in relation to the lift achieved from the jack. When jacking a vehicle that has a high start point the jack takes a while to achieve contact with the vehicle being lifted.

I used this jack last weekend to work on two different cars. The jack easily lifted both vehicles but each time when it was time to lower the vehicle, it is very hard to lower the car slowly. A lot of torque needs to be applied to the handle to lower the jack.
