There is no handle to carry it by. The axle on the front wheels works for this purpose, but is not really large enough. There is a ring to hold the extension tube on the side, but it falls out if you hit a bump while rolling around or if you carry it by the axle on the front. There is nothing to hold the pump handle. My old one had a little cradle on the side that was great for storage. This is also very heavy, so not having a real handle and having to deal with the extension tube and the pump handle separately do make it a pain. Aside from that, this seems to operate as well as any jack I have used. I appreciate the extension so that I can use the same jack on my Lancer and my Acadia.

Easy to open out of the box, no assembly needed. Performs as it should, easy to operate if you've used a jack before. Some jacks with detachable handles have a lot of play in the handle when using the jack, making them feel cheap - the handle fits tightly into this jack and has a solid feel. Common with lower cost jacks, this does take some extra priming before reaching the lift point, however it is well balanced - not too much priming, just enough. Easy to maneuver, a bit heavy (most noticeable when lifting to transport) but very solid!! I am excited to see how long I get out of this jack, definitely worth the price paid as I've purchased lower quality floor jacks for a much higher price.

I purchased this to use on my sports car and with the adapter it increases the height so I can also use it on my SUV.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Waldo I have faith in this jack..
So I bought this jack because it had more than enough qualifications for my 1999 Ford Ranger XLT 6cyl 4.0L 4x4. Also, the mechanic at the concrete company I work for uses this jack in the shop and it's lasted there for a few years. I used this jack for the first time this week changing a tire on my ranger and I may have been a little too hard on it. I purged the air before use as the instructions direct, but I jacked my truck up at a higher point on the frame instead of at the rear axle. I pushed the jack as high as it could go and it immediately started leaking hydraulic fluid. It still worked just fine and held the frame up in the air, but the pressure must have caused a small leak. I ended up putting the jack back down, reading my ford manual, and then jacking the truck up under the axle. I believe if I would have done this in the first place it would not have leaked. The next day, I bought some jack oil from Wal Mart with leak stop for a few bucks and topped her off. This seemed to fix the leak for now. I am very impressed with how easy this jack is to use and how quickly it raised the truck. I am also impressed with how high it can raise the truck, granted it did leak when maxed out. I have faith that if I use this jack the right way and take proper care if it, then it will last a long time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wt Satisfied my criteria for a floor jack
This 3 ton jack met my amateur need to work on my pick-up truck. I choose this jack for (1) the price, (2) maximum lift height, which can be reached by using the height attachment, (3) How much the steel jack itself weighed, which was less than other 3 ton steel floor jacks but not as light as a 3 ton aluminum floor jack.
It's not as fast or easy as a rapid pump jack and you have to pull the handle out of the jack and reattach to the release valve knob. Which works fine- If you carefully and slowly turn the release valve; otherwise the load drops too quickly.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bern Nice entry level jack
The jack was labeled Big Red when I got it. I looked at the label and it was made by the Torrin Company. Not that it really mattered to me it looked exactly like the picture but says Big Red instead of Husky. It took quite a number of pumps before the jack went up but it had an attachment that lifts it a couple of inches higher reducing the number of pumps if so desired. The jack was able to lift my suv without any problems but the cup that lifts it is slightly small in my opinion for a three ton jack other than that the jack is ok for a once in a while do it your selfer.

I had purchased this product for using on my boat and tandem axle boat trailer, which is approximately 5,200 lbs. dry. The extension and the range (height) are exactly what I was anticipating. Raising and lowering the jack went extremely well and were not too sensitive.
I had used the jack to remove all (4) wheels to have the tires replaced. This task went well and met all my expectations.
The price was also very competitive.
