the door looks great. It's easy to open and close. The installer had to make a few adjustments because this is a very old house and there was an existing foundation for the door but it all worked out well.

I am very pleased w/doors, but the right door was scratched in shipping, if the doors are truly powder coated as the ad reads this should never have happened in shipping. So feel like I pd. for something I never got. Btw I own a Auto Body Shop and we do in house powder coating so I know that youcant scratch or gouge powder coating.

I replaced an old steel door which was rusted to bits. this Bilco Powder coated door will last much better in the New England elements. It was fairly easy to install. I love the lift assist gas springs which keep the doors open when you open them and also help to lift them while opening. The color of the powder coating is nice and consistent and it looks and feels great.
One critique: the rubber feet that are used on the edge of the doors (they are on the edge of the door so when you open it fully the doors won't rub the frame but rather the rubber feet contact the frame). These rubber feet fall out easily (I lost one already).

Bilco door looks excellent I love the new gas closures on the door. Opens and closes without a lot of noise.
Powder coating is light and scuff's easily The door had some abrasion marks from shipping The door likely need to be repainted within a year or two
