Answer:
Heaters are not rated by room size due to variations in the amount and type of insulation used in the construction of the room, the number of outside doors and windows in the area as well as their efficiency rating, the overall tightness of the area in relationship to drafts (construction), and the outside temperature in relationship to the desired inside temperature.

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very Poor reliability quartz heater This Bionaire Express Comfort heater was provided to me on March 15, 2015 as a warranty replacement for a Holmes quartz heater that had quit working. I was pleased that the "Jarden Consumer Solutions company" for honoring their warranty and was also very pleased with the performance of this heater after it arrived. I used it regularly through last spring but, of course, not over the summer. After a couple uses this fall however it quit working. It just wouldn't come on. I just called the company and explained this loss of function after only six months but was told the warranty was dated from the first purchase and not the replacement so the warranty was now past. All they would do for me was to offer a discount on a new model. This is actually the third such heater I have owned from under the Jarden name (two Holmes and one Bionaire) and all three have become non-functional within less than three years of purchase. I would caution anyone NOT to waste their money on either a Holmes or a Bionaire model. They clearly just don't hold up. September 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heat Me Up It keeps me warm and I can save money that way. All I had to do was unpack it and plug it in. I didn't need to read any directions. March 3, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by I'm sure it is fine, but... I purchased this for use in my bathroom which is large and cold. There are only adults in the family, and of course I wasn't planning on putting it near the tub or hanging towels over it, but glad I read the instruction manual before pulling everything out of the box. Tip #7: Do not use in damp or wet location such as bathrooms or outdoors. Parts in the heater may be damaged by moisture. I am returning it and hoping to find a "damp location" infrared heater that is not $700. February 1, 2014
